Great concept, just not great lipstick......

This lipstick is really drying! It doesn't leave my lips moisturized and the two colors I got in the shade Smooch doesn't seem to work well for me. If I apply just the shimmer shade alone it makes me look washed out and then if I apply the matter shade alone it looks too dark. I have to use my Rimmel lipstick in nude to make the color more wearable and my lips more moisturized. I like the concept ...read moreof having two different shades in one lipstick but I think Covergirl needs to come up with new colors that will complement each other and also put some more oomph in the hydration department for this one.

it only looks good in the commercial

its not a good option , I was waiting to get what I saw in the TV, but I didn't even get it closely, its a bad lipstick, so sticky.

Great Effect!

I bought Intense. A deep, dark burgundy/wine color with a copper color on the other end. LOVE the colors together and on their own. Only problem it is a bit drying. I remedy that by using my Baby Lips Lip Balm from Maybelline to moisturize over the lipstick without smudging it.

Not Bad

I bought two of these one in Stunner and the other in Vixen. I really like the 840 Stunner better than Vixen as the colors seem to go better together though neither is bad. The main problem is you may not always like both colors and they seem a bit more drying than the Lipperfections which to me you might as well go with. If you really like both colors you might pick up one but otherwise stick with perfection as I can not even say these are a day/evening combo.

I want my money back

This lipstick is terrible. I bought the red one with the orange lipstick and it sucks. The glitter is too chunky and it looks cheap, also my lips look dried when they are not. Totally not recommended. Don't waste your money in this ladies!

Fun colors and Lasting power

I looove this lipstick. I bought intensity which is a dark purple color. The color looks intimidating in the tube but it doesn't go on quite as dark and its a really nice color payoff for a drugstore brand. I also bought it in the orangy coral color (I can't remember the name of the color) which is perfect for summer. I love the fact that you have the option of creating a new color or look by laye...read morering the lighter color over the darker one! I was really impressed by the lasting power as well. It stood on all day and when it faded it started to look like a lipstain. Which is not a bad thing because most of the time when I buy a lipstick and it fades it starts to bleed and look all weird, which is why I was never into wearing lip color. Anyway I love this product and I got a ton of complements about my lip color when I was wearing it!! I want to try every color!

Blast Flipstick

I have a love-hate relationship with this. The dark color is super nice and pigmented with great longwearing. The lighter color doesn't show up over or under the other color, so you can only use one color. Sometimes, the lighter color will look stupid by itself, so you can't wear it alone. It smells alright, but I might repurchase, I'm not sure.
