Gets the Job Done
I have thick hair and I don't wash it every day so this is a convenient product for me. A couple pumps into my hand can be worked through my shoulder-length hair and although the s scent is a little weird, and it doesn't lather at all, it gets the job done. It cleans my hair while leaving it soft for a couple days before my next shampoo. — 6 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Okay.....I'm Sold!
First, I'd like to thank Total Beauty for sending me this product to try out and review. I have been very impressed with this product. I have very long, very curly hair that is fine in texture but I have a lot of it. I normally use about 6 different products but I am now down to this product and the Ever line's curl activating mousse only and I am getting excellent results. I only gave this product 8 stars due to lack of good directions on the bottle and also because the pump doesn't really give out enough product. I would like to see the brand make more cleansing conditioners of different formulations so I can alternate them. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

Hard to master
I have found a lot of people who hate this but now i like it a lot. I just had to find a creative way to use it because it is too thick for a leave in but too thin of a mask. I decided to use it when i slick back my hair into a bun (third day dirty hair) and let me tell you that night when i washed my hair my hair was AMAZING so soft and shiny. I couldnt believe it! so i tried it again, and again my hair is amazing. I use this often in the summer to keep the hair out of my face. I def recommend this! — 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

horrible smell
Don't get me wrong, this product works. It DOES clean well without any foaming, but what's the use when you're not going to use it because of the overpowering musky Vanilla smell? I know that they want you to think it's nourishing (and it IS moisturizing), but can't we also feel & smell fresh, like we DID wash our hair today? The pump also sucks. I had to pump it like 20 times for my long hair, it hurt my hand. I'd use this same formula and give it a "10" if you changed the fragrance, pump, increased the bottle size, and priced it lower. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 4 people said helpful

I adore this!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE LOVE this product!! NEVER did I think I could get away with using this without a separate conditioner. I have very thick, dryish and long hair. I ALWAYS need a conditioner. Guess what? I didn't need a separate shampoo or conditioner. Not only that but this left my hair feeling soft and amazing!!! I also LOVE the smell which helps. Unbelievable product!! Will buy again and again. — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Great product, terrible smell
No, this will not lather like shampoo, because it is sulfate-free. Although it's a thick formula, I don't have trouble working it through my scalp. You just have to rub it in and trust that it's cleaning. It is! I use a few pumps to rub into my scalp and roots, then a few more pumps to work through the rest of my hair. Then I detangle my hair and let it sit on while I clean, shave, etc. My hair always feels incredibly clean and light without being at all dried out after using this. The first time I used it, I noticed right away that my waves were forming really well, likely because this is hydrating without any weight. I was thrilled! I have had no problems with tangling or this not being a strong enough conditioner, even though my hair is naturally a little dry. My only complaint is that my ends aren't quite as conditioned as the rest of my hair, so I add a tiny bit of leave-in to the ends. It's worth noting that I am terrible at keeping up with regular trims, and at this time I haven't had a haircut in around 3 months. Bonus points for the locking top; just twist it and it locks (pretty ideal for travel). Only real complaint is the smell. It's just too strong. I liked it at first, but I can smell it on my hair until I wash it again. And not just if my hair gets blown in my face. The smell is lingering, emanating. I haven't had complaints from others, but it's enough to keep me from repurchasing. Gag. If they would reformulate with a less offensive fragrance, I would love this. — 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 8 people said helpful

A good shampoo/conditioner combo
I have tried several different shampoo/conditioner brands and formulas over the years and never found one I liked before this one. I still prefer the combination of my L'Oreal Eversleek sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner (I get better conditioning benefits from using that conditioner separately), but this is a great alternative for those days when I'm in a hurry. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 6 people said helpful

Just Okay for Me
After using this a couple of times, I am not as convinced on this as I was after the first use. I am noticing that I only see the soft, shiny hair the first day I use this. By day 2, my hair feels heavy & looks a little greasy. But this doesn't happen if I wash my hair with regular shampoo & use this as a conditioner. I still like the scent & will use the rest of the bottle. But I'm not convinced that this is able to replace my shampoo. — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 7 people said helpful

Hmmm...has its pros and cons
This actually works better than I thought it would. I cleans my hair (though not as well as a regular shampoo) and leaves it relatively smooth with no build-up. It also saves time in the shower because I'm eliminating a step! That said, here's what I don't like: my hair gets greasier faster, there is only a minimal reduction in frizz, and the scent is STRONG. It smells like a musky men's cologne. And it lingers until you shower again. Another downfall: if you have long hair you have to use a lot, which means it won't last very long. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with super oily hair, or very dry/coarse hair, but if your hair is somewhere in the middle and you want to save time in the shower, give this a shot; you might like it! — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Love the smell, and makes hair soft!
Before switching to no-cone, this was my fave. I loved the vanilla smell, and it made my hair adequately soft! — 2 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
