First "pure" conditioner I've tried

When I first got this conditioner I really wasn't sure what was so "pure" about it. Aren't shampoos the products with sulfates? How do sulfates effect the performance of a conditioner? Armed with these questions I tried this conditioner on my fine, color treated hair. I was actually surprised at how well it moisturized. There was lot of slip and I was able to run my wide tooth comb through it...read more easily in the shower (I distribute conditioner through my hair in the shower with the wide tooth comb and let it sit for a few minutes under the steam before rinsing). I felt like the product was rinsed away easily and didn't see any evidence of build up in the week or so that I tried it. No breakouts along the hair line which is a big plus for me! My fine hair was not weighed down and my highlights looked brighter, not brassier so I have to say that it was a good conditioner for my hair type. Did I ever look up the answers to my questions? Nope, but I am still pleased with the results!

average conditioner..

As i said about the shampoo, the scent is light and pretty and my hair does feel soft, but no much different than it usually does. ALso, i feel like it doesnt fully coat my hair like other conditioners, i feel like I have to use extra to feel like my long hair is getting fully conditioned. as a conditioner, i would describe it as 'fine', but nothing amazing

Great conditioner!

I’ve been using this conditioner along with the Aveeno Pure Renewal Shampoo for about a week now. I think the shampoo does a great job cleaning my hair, and this conditioner seems to add a nice amount of shine and leaves my hair nice and soft. I think it’s a great daily (or every other day) conditioner that isn’t too heavy or greasy. I haven’t used it with a different brand of shampoo, but I think the Pure Renewal set pairs nicely and I plan to make this set a staple in my shower.

Really liked this conditioner

I used this along with the shampoo and got great results. It's a nice creamy, thick conditioner that left my long, color treated hair very manageable and clean for days. I usually wash my hair every other day and found I could go an extra day with no one being the wiser. It gave my hair a nice silky texture and looked great just natural which is a big plus; and the fact that I can go any extra ...read moreday saves me $. Actually loved the size and shape of the bottle cause it didn't slip out of my hand while in the shower. Really impressed with Aveeno and will be purchasing this again.

Review subject

I received this product to review (along with the shampoo). I was a little skeptical since I've used sulfate shampoo & conditioner in the past and found that after using it for a few days my hair felt heavy and oily. I didn't find that to be the case at all with the Aveeno. It smelled fresh and clean and left my hair feeling smooth and shiny.

Great Product!

I loved this product. I used this with the shampoo and loved how it made my hair hold the style. It had a very pleasant scent, made my hair soft and shiny and would definitely buy this! My husband also used this and noticed a difference without me even asking his opinion. This will be a wonderful addition to our haircare products!

Love this for LONG hair!

I have long, straight, dark, non-dyed hair which is fine in texture but there is a lot of it. I normally use conditioner twice as fast as shampoo. This condition works so well I do not have to use a hand full to get it to soften and detangle my hair! I put this on, shaved my legs, and then rinsed and found my hair combable with my fingers! This never happens! Over many uses this conditioner has left my split end prone hair less tangled and soft!

Conditions OK...

I received a full-size 'sample' of this product with the coordinating shampoo. I've been using it every day, with the shampoo, for a week and a half. I have normal, straight, fine, color-treated long hair. This conditioner conditions OK, but it really doesn't detangle that well. I don't normally have a problem combing out my hair after washing & conditioning, but I always have snarls with this...read more product. I think it's a bit of a lightweight when it comes to detangling. Otherwise, I love the packaging and the fragrance. Maybe it's better for shorter hair. I probably won't be buying this product after this bottle is gone.
