mixed feelings

This spray is not the best... While it does make and keep hair pin straight all day, it also makes hair sort of dry and straw-like to touch. It doesn't weigh hair down, and doesn't make it greasy in any way, but you don't get and shine either. I do prefer softer, shinier hair though, even if it's not pin-straight or weighted down a bit. Will not be repurchasing this one. There are better products out there.

Mhm

It protects my hair from damaging it but a soon as I finish straightening my hair my hair feels dry and dead . But overall it keeps my hair straight all day ! This is my third bottle and I might go for a fourth !

Soft and shiny..and stays straight longer!

Maybe there is some kind of effect they are trying to get, but there are many other flat iron sprays that don't have alcohol in it. It's a good spray, though. It does smell good, and when I flat iron with it, it leaves hair glossier and (at least I think) that my hair stays straight longer. I found the only way this works and leaves my hair nice is by air drying. Probably because the alcohol eva...read moreporates with the water, as my hair dries. Anyway, glad to know others had success. I made the mistake of spraying a bit of this on my hair while dry, thinking it would give my hair a burst of moisture - as my hair was frizzing a bit, and my hair parched up really nastily. I'd recommend this to someone with normal/oil hair.

hmmmm

not sure about this one yet, but then again I can't find any flat iron protection spray that doesn't feel a bit like hairspray. This one feels less like hairspray than others I have tried, but I'm dtermined to find better. I don't think it really does anything to my hair.

turns hair into straw

I've given this product 2 months to impress me. I have medium/thick, very long curly hair that I straighten once or twice every week. I sprayed the product all over my dry hair after detangling and then flat ironed it. This product did absolutely nothing. I feel like it didn't protect my hair at all, and it always fried my tips making small split ends look awful and frizzy. I have no idea why this...read more product is on the market-it's like spraying your hair with a drying agent. Plus the smell is horrible-every time I use it I feel like I'm in a giant cloud of strong-smelling chemicals. I've always like garnier's hair products but this was awful.

I like it so far!

I've only been using this for about a week, but so far so good! My hair tends to resist heat styling, but this has helped me get straight locks without the fight. When I've used straighteners in the past, other products have left my hair feeling dry and wispy. I'm very pleased with it so far and the price tag is nice too. The scent is pretty good. There's a bit of a chemical smell if I accidentally spray it too close to my face, but nothing too bad.
