Pretty good...but not GREAT

There are...read more three downsides to this item: it is a white powder...so you do have to try to get it out - sometimes this is hard to do and it shows on the scalp unless you scrub it. Also, application is really messy. Sprays are usually the easiest application but they make your hair sticky, this item really allows your hair to look like it's freshly washed and styled...maybe even better. Lastly, the product starts out great, but it doesn't really hold the fresh washed look all day and in a few hours your hair can go back to as dirty as it was to start.

Really good

I was talked into buying this by an employee at Lush while I was there about a year ago, and this is definitely my go to dry shampoo. It really works! I can't wash my hair every day (It's extremely fine and starts breaking and looking dull if I do) so dry shampoo is a MUST for me. You get TONS of this in the bottle (I got it almost a year ago and I'm about 1/4 through it) and it's not very expensi...read moreve. It does make your hair look and feel really clean, and it doesn't make your hair feel disgusting like other dry shampoos I've tried. It smells really nice too! The only problems I have with this product involve packaging. It's packaged like a lotion and tends to get all over when you use it. Since it's such a fine powder, when you try and squirt, it poofs out and goes all over the place. When I try to apply it directly TO my hair, it still ends up all over. Also, I'm not totally sure if I just bought a dude bottle, but it won't close all the way. All of this aside, it's a really great dry shampoo (you do get a little bit of residue, but nothing you can't brush out) with packaging that needs some work. I'd definitely repurchase this!

Not my favorite

This dry shampoo does smell good, but other than that, I hated it! It is so hard to apply- it gets everywhere. I also didn't think it worked well to absorb oil, but maybe that's because 90% of it ended up on my clothes. Will not buy again.

Tough on oily hair but not stiff or sticky! And I found the trick to applying it!

I have extremely oily hair but it is also dyed so I cannot wash it everyday. Literally every week was a fight between fading my hair color or washing my hair everyday to avoid oil slick hair. And then everything changed. I met this lovely powder. My hair is no longer an oil slick and it is touchable, soft, and oil free. The application was odd a first but I figured out the trick to it (puff into your hand and then roll the bristles of your brush in it then proceed to brush your hair).

Went bad after a few days

I actually bought this because when I was in the store, my sister was asking for so many samples that I felt bad and decided to buy something. The first few days it was great, it was light and citrusy, and it made my hair look great, but then a few day later there was a weird smell around my house that smelled SO strongly of wax/baby powder. It was overpowering and I could not stand it. My family ...read morequickly identified it as coming from me, and I tried to figure out what it was. The next day, I sprinkled some no drought into my hair and happened to sniff my hair. Yes. The wax smell was coming from the dry shampoo. Also, a few hours into the day, my hair would get greasy again. I feel really bad for not liking this product, there is still a ton left. I don't know what to do with it. Overall started out great then spladooshed.

love this

This is the first dry shampoo I've found that I actually like. It smells wonderful, clears up excess oil, and adds volume and body like no other. It doesn't take much and seems to do all the work itself- you don't have to mess with your hair forever to make it look right again as with many other dry shampoos.

Favourite Dry Shampoo

I am blonde and have extremely oily, long hair. This is the best shampoo I can find on the market that is actually affordable! This is also the best smelling dry shampoo I've ever used. Love Lush products!

Dry Shampoo

I love this stuff because it actually works! On my second day with unwashed hair I sprinkle about a teaspoon around my roots and just "fluff" let it sit for a bit and then brush it out. I'll add more if needed. It seems to soak up the shiny but not leave the hair matte and gross like other canned/bottled dry shampoos. I've tried many spray dry shampoos and none have worked nearly as good as this.
