Incredible Shine, Color, and Wear
I laughed out loud when Tarte introduced their LipSurgence™ Lip Tints. The claim of increasing lips' moisture content by 6000% on a cellular level sounded completely absurd. What tint could do that? I was intrigued by the colors--so gorgeous--and the fact that this contains peppermint oil for a cooling tingle, jojoba seed oil for moisture, and Vitamins C and E to prevent premature signs of aging. So I tried one--and fell completely in love! This is a completely natural product, as are all of Tarte's, free of parabens, sulfates, petro-chemicals, and synthetic dyes and fragrances. They glide on easily for a natural color that lasts all day, along with a truly moistured, hydrated feeling. I was able to get five of them in a bonus kit from Sephora and loved it. Tarte LipSurgence Natural Lip Luster in the Color Sweet
I received the new color Sweet in the Tarte LipSurgence Natural Lip Luster in a make up kit. This color is a peach, pink shade and there is a bit of sparkle to the color. It also has the minty taste like the other LipSurgence Lip colors I've used in the past. This color is complimented with the blush Peaceful. Sweet Lipsurgence is a much lighter peachy pink color than the Envy and looks much closer in color to Lucky. However, this one is shinier and has more sparkle than Lucky. This lip product does not have some of the harsh chemicals other lip products contain. And my wish is coming true; they are adding more colors to this product line! Have fun with these, they are easy to use, have a great taste and they are long wearing on your lips. Good
I recieved Pouty in a Christmas gift set. It's a nice colour and I like the luster finish since you can wear it sutlely or pack it on for a bold pop. It lasts quite a while and hydrates lips. Love these the BEST!
The lusters are terrific! They are more of a lipstick. They do not stain like the original ones. The original ones wind up being too bright (changing color) on me for some reason. I love the golden shimmer that they have. If you don't like golden shimmer in your lipstick, this may not work for you. The color range works better for me and my fair skin. I only found one red one that didn't work for me. They are smooth and creamy and last for awhile. Application is easy and I love the roll up tube. They have the minty smell and taste. One of my favorites is the Achiote color and the color sweet. I have found a sort of drug store dupe to sweet. It's a L'Oreal Color Riche in Kerry's Rosewood is very similar and looks the same on the lips. sorry...just can't like this!
i have tried every version of these gloss sticks. the matte ones, the lustres, the regular. The colors are so bright, I feel like a clown wearing them! and I don't like minty fragrance in my products. Mint oils can dry out your lips! nope.
