My 15 Year Old Loves This!

Another great, all natural product from Tarte. My daughter loves this because it seperates really well. This does not flake or smudge! I love that I know my daughter is only putting good things on her face!

Liked it at first....

I bought the trial size from Ulta just to see how I liked it since I usually love Tarte products and my best friend recommended this mascara. When I first used it, it was really good. Didn't flake, wasn't clumpy, and not too thick or too natural-looking--just the way I like it. However, after using this for a week or so, it started to clump and didn't really curl my lashes well. It leaves my lashe...read mores really clumpy and spidery-looking and doesn't lengthen or add volume. Disappointment!

Fully Defined Natural Lashes

This gives naturally fuller lashes with just a few swipes and no clumps. No smudges or flaking. Applies very smooth. Not for you if you want dramatic lashes with lots of length and volume but this also isn't so natural that it's frustrating. This is categorized as vegan friendly on tarte's website and is cruelty free.

Lenthes, but is not great

I got one of these in a kit. It does lengthen a bit. It doesn't last all day like the lights, camera, lashes, nor does it make your lashes fuller like it either. I could not wait until my tube was done so I could go back to a better mascara. I find that it's ok if you like a very natural look to your lashes. If not then you should not buy it. tarte's mascara's are pricey and there are better ones ...read moreout there. The bamboo tube packaging is large and fat. It is cute, but a bit cumbersome. Overall, I don't recommend it.

Decent but not repurchasing

This gives a decent length and stays pretty well but nothing spectacular. I expect more from a mascara at this price. Quite a few of the drug store brands are better than this.

A Healthy Mascara

Before I start off my review, I'd like to mention that my lashes are dark and naturally full and long. I apply mascara to either define them, or add more drama. The #1 best thing is that this mascara has natural ingredients as I don't like exposing such a delicate part to harsh chemicals. I notice well-defined, lifted, and even longer looking lashes. Upon a second coat, my lashes look really long, like falsies, and the wiggling motion combined with the numerous tiny bristles on this mascara brush, separates the lashes to make them look numerous along with slight volumizing. If you are concerned about the volume, I wouldn't recommend this as the best choice; however, using the complimenting lash primer would help achieve that. I love the bamboo cover, it's very light weight and appealing. The formula is just right, in my opinion, not too runny and not too goopy either. I must admit though that as the Tarte mascara's properties state, this did make my bare lashes look healthier after only using it for about a week or so. Also, I'm not sure if I've gotten used to seeing my lashes with this mascara, or they have actually lengthened. Nevertheless, I would at least recommend giving this mascara a try, there's nothing to lose besides gaining long-term benefits of the amazonian clay in this mascara!

Ehhh... not great

I gave this a six because it doesn't flake, clump, smudge under my eyes. But it also doesn't do much else. Not dramatic enough for me!

Favorite mascara

I was given this mascara as a gift a couple of years ago and have never turned back. My lashes are lengthen and look full. My lashes are fine and light brown. No clumps and if I want to add another coat later in the day - works well. Does not flake off. Comes off great.

Fail.

Didn't darken, didn't lengthen, didn't volumize. I guess the wonders of Amazonian clay don't really matter if it doesn't make your lashes look any different.

Doesn't Last

I love Tarte's "Lights, Camera, Lashes!" mascara, and I love the Amazonian Clay blush even more, so I decided to try this mascara. I really liked it...at first. Unfortunately, after a few weeks it began to dry out. And I live in DC, which isn't exactly a dry climate. I don't think it has dried out my lashes (as virtually every drugstore mascara I tried did), and I don't have problems with flaking ...read moreor smudging, but it now clumps and won't glide on smoothly. I don't think it is even as dark as it once was. I still use it because I haven't had the money to spare for a new mascara, but it isn't doing much for my lashes. I wish I had reordered "Lights, Camera, Lashes!" instead.
