Great Vivid, Complementary Colors

I simply couldn't resist this compact in "Amethyst Ablazed" and "Forest Fury." They are perfectly complementary, highly (emphasis on highly here) shimmering shadows. Be sure you know that before you apply so that you have the right tools ready to take advantage of the vibrant hues. I didn't give this ten stars because it can be a little too much "oomph" for some situations. I did wear the gree...read morens to a county fair on a very hot, humid day. Even my wide-brimmed hat straw summer was wilting, but my shadows were still fresh.

One of my favourite eye shadows

This, together with the "Eyestudio" quads is one of my favourite eye shadows from "Maybelline"... They are not dry at all, very easily blendable, very pigmented, long lasting (especially if you use them with a primer), and very true to colour. Even the lighter colours transfer very well. I find that with some drug store eye shadows, you can never be too sure with the lighter shades, but these re...read moreally work. All of them will look exactly the same colour on your eye lids. The sparkles are very find, so even if you are someone who isn't crazy about glitter or sparkles, these won't upset you too much because the sparkles are hardly noticeable, when you apply the shadow... It gives you more of a glow than a sparkle... My favourite colour combo in this line (for an every day look) is "Caffeine Rush"... I use it almost every day... And even if I don't use all the colours, I'll use the darker colours for my crease (combines with colours from another palette), or the highlight, so it's very versatile and practical. Would definitely recommend this to all.

Great pigmentation

The colors are super pretty, and have great pigmentation. These are on the pricier side for drugstore eyeshadows, but I still think they're worth a try. They don't have great staying power. You definitely have to use a primer, and if you have kind of oily eye lids they don't stay that long.

Maybelline New York Eye Studio Color Explosion

I love these shadows! I have 2 or 3 of the purple ones and I really hope it is never discontinued. I like how pigmented and vibrant the colors are. I had to give it a 9 because of fallout, but that is the only flaw. It took me awhile to realize I get less fallout if I pat it on instead of brushing it on like normal. The purple really makes my eyes stand out and lasts all day without fading. The only pan I hardly use is the top sparkly one. I only use it on nights when I'm going out.

I like the fact its really pigmented but it really doesnt last... Use a really good primer for this!!!!

Explosive...

I got the blue diamond set of this and it goes well with formal n casual wear, the instruction on how to put it is written on the back of the label so it's not so hard for me to blend. :p Dramatic shade, cant wait to use it outdoor again. Btw, i have asian eyes, it makes me look like a star.

I really like this

The pigmentation of these shadows are crazy, and they feel so velvety and last forever. The "luminizer" I could do without, since I don't like a ton of sparkles and it just got all over the pan. Really great though. I have the purple one and I'm in love. It's the only purple shadow I'll use.
