Almost but not quite
Pros: I love the handle - very ergonomic and no slipping. Also really like that the head pivots and the blades are nice and sharp. Cons: The moisture strip really wasn't very moisturizing. The blades are widely spaced which felt odd. Great razor for the price range
I love this razor. I got this razor as a sample to try a few days ago, and I think it is really good. I have tried all kinds of razors, from the super cheap ones from the dollar store to the moderately expensive ones. This is what I consider "moderately expensive" for me, at least. Great razor, I am quite impressed! Though I prefer epilating over shaving, if I had to pick a razor it'd be this one. So far no cuts or irritated skin like with others I have tried in the past. I have used it both with and without shaving cream and it definitely works better with it. The moisturizing bar definitely leaves skin moisturized. Great handle for easy handling, and great for any area of the body. The prize is really not that bad as you can buy at major retailers for about ten dollars. Overall, it is a great razor, leaves skin smooth and the save does last a little longer than others. Provides a very close shave
I got this razor as a freebie somehow but was reluctant to use it because I love the design of my Schick Quattro Razor so much and this is a very different to that. Because this razor has five blades and moisture strips all around that, it is quite bulky. The handle however, is lightweight and easy to grip. This took some getting used to, and I still think it could be better at getting around my ankles and knees, but I do really like the shave it gives. Because this has five blades, it provides a really close shave. The moisture strips around the blades get a little gooey when wet, but they do help keep my dry, itchy legs slightly more moisturized. After a couple weeks using this razor (I change my razors out about once a month), the moisturizing strips aren't doing much anymore, but that is OK. When I first used this I thought it was decent but that I would return to my Schick Quattro in a month. After using this a few times though, I realize that my legs stay smoother for longer and I think it is due to this razor's incredibly close shave. Smooth
I have to say THIS is the ultimate razor that can be found at the local drugstore. I had to try it after seeing the rave reviews in this month's Oprah magazine. One woman even said she did not need to use lotion on her legs afterwards. I on the other hand, out of habit used lotion, but honestly the five blades did the job of removing all of the hair on my legs, leaving them ultra , ultra smooth. Great, but not for me
I love the shave I got from this razor. However, I HAVE to shave every day or almost every day or else I get insane amounts of leg stubble and overall irritation, and as such, I blow through razor cartridges like crazy. This razor was really nice, but I've decided I need to switch because the jojoba/moisturizing stuff comes out way too fast and I can't stop it. Trust me, I've tried tons of stuff to try to take care of the razor head and store it properly, etc. It is kind of gross once that stuff starts coming out because it is very reminiscent of snot. Also, I find the blades get dull/messed up really quickly. Anyway, I am sad I have to give up this razor, but I can use it four or five times tops before the cartridge is shot, so not even a full week per head, and you get four in a pack, which I'd have to buy twice a month for something like 16 dollars. Overall, this razor gives a good shave and I think it would be GREAT for someone with a lot less hair, slower regrowth, less coarseness of hair, and less frequency of use overall. I personally am just going to switch back to another razor whose heads last me considerably longer before the blades get dull and clogged, and all the moisturizing stuff is gone on them. Also, I have never seen any coupons for this at any drugstores in my area (I'll admit I haven't actively looked anywhere else but Walmart, and I've never seen it on sale there), and I also don't remember mine coming with a shower pod, but I believe it came with shaving cream when it first came out, and I liked the smell of that, and used it up but did not repurchase because it made my skin itch a lot. I would recommend this razor to anyone that shaves less often and/or has less coarse hair and just generally does not train through razor cartridges like me. Maybe if I got a ginormous pack at Costco of them, they would be more worthwhile. Love This Razor
I was skeptical about using this razor, just because I have used the same brand of razor for years. I was able to try a free sample of this razor and so glad for the opportunity. I love the moisturizing strip. The wide handle made it easier to get hard to reach places (behind my knees). My legs were left smooth and hydrated. good razor
As a BzzAgent, I got a free sample of this razor and I am liking it so far. The serum is sticky when it first gets wet and won't last longer than a few shaves, but that's not a problem for me since I never use anything when I shave anyways. The razor gives a smooth shave and I haven't had any nicks, cuts, or irritation since I started using it. By far THE BEST!!!
While very pricey as far as I'm concerned, this is the best razor I've ever used! It's worth every penny. It gives me such a close shave that it actually gives me an extra day between when I have to shave my legs! I bought them for my 15 year old daughter, and she totally agrees. Very Nice!
Great shave on ALL areas of the body. I've used it without shave cream/gel. Lotion on razor doesnt peal off like other razors. Comes with two 5 blade heads, thick handle, hanger with suction cup. Hanger works wonderful has not fallen of shower wall yet! Silky smooth and nick-free
This razor amazed me. I had been a Venus user for years, since high school, but after receiving a free Schick Hydrosilk razor in the mail, and trying it, I will never go back! The water activated serum makes your legs sooooo soft. Also, the blades have skinguards to prevent cuts, and the blades can also move individually of each other, which is awesome for those awkward to shave areas. The handle is comfortable and easy to hold, even when wet. This razor glides over the skin, without ever tugging or dragging.
