Worth the money!!!
I was really hesitant to purchase this because of the price. I was a nonbeliever that this machine could truly make a difference. I was fortunate enough to get this on sale for $100 at Ulta because I was a platinum member. I have a lot of blackheads on my nose and this truly got rid of it. The only...read more bad thing about this is that I was under the impression that the brush head rotates while it's cleaning but that's not the case. It just pulses and sometimes doesn't give me the clean that I seek. Other than that, I have tried using the best of the best moisturizers out there to get rid of the flaky skin around my nose since I blow my nose a lot and this is the ONLY thing that has gotten rid of it. Good product, but won't be purchasing more brush heads
I got this as a gift with the pore cleansing brush, so the $170 unit cost was mitigated a bit, but I unfortunately don't think I'll be buying anymore $30 replacement brushes--especially every three months like the website suggests. It really is a well made product though that is wholly waterproof and has a certain sturdy heft to it that tells me this is built quite solidly. I use this after cleans...read moreing and before adding any additional treatments to my skin, so I cannot comment on how it removes my makeup. I also use it with the Clarisonic brand Refreshing Gel Cleanser. I use the brush on the lower setting and I think I get a very thorough clean on that. I have oily skin that sometimes breaks out and has dry patches, and while I haven't noticed a large change in its texture or behavior, I did notice that it exfoliates amazingly and leaves my skin soft without any irritation whatsoever, getting rid of the flaky patches quite well. A Game-Changer!
I have skin that is prone to mild hormonal acne and was becoming frustrated because I was so serious about caring for my skin and wasn't seeing the results I wanted. I got the Mia 2 in December of 2017 and have used it ever since. My skin feels cleaner, firmer, and smoother. It has improved blackheads on my nose, but they have not completely gone away. I have paired this with several different brush heads and had good results with each. It also doesn't need to be charged often even though I use it twice a day. I feel that it's important to mention that getting your skin adjusted to a Clarisonic device can be really rough. Immediately after beginning using the device, I got several small, shallow zits. However, they were gone quickly. I believe the Clarisonic was just brining up dirt, etc from quite deep in my pores. My skin can tend towards the dry side, and at first using the Mia 2 exacerbated that, but my skin quickly got used to it. I would recommend to start slowly (perhaps once or twice per week) and build up to twice a day. Starting using this over holiday breaks or summer vacation is also optimal, in case it takes a week or two for your skin to get adjusted. Save your money people! Yes it is a good tool but you have to remember that you will be buying extra attachment heads every so often. I didn't notice any difference in my skin, softness or otherwise! Mia 2 is a skin saver!
I am very acne prone and my skin is very sensitive, I also suffer with mild psoriasis and my skin can get really dry and scaly in certain areas and super oily in others. Works Great But Keeps Breaking!
I have mixed feelings about this product. When it comes to exfoliating, it worked really well. My issue is it keeps breaking! The company has been cool about sending me new ones, but I've now had 3 of them break within 6 months. Worth the investment
I had a knockoff version and I couldn't use it in the shower so I bit the bullet and bought the Clarisonic Mia to see if I would even like the technology before investing in their more expensive device. I definitely noticed smaller pores around my nose and cheeks. The only thing I would recommend is to make sure you really clean the brush head after each use.
