Whoa!
I certainly wasn't expecting much from this mascara when I picked it up. But I said, "Well, it's only $3 and I need something until I repurchase my usual mascara". The brush isn't anything particularly special (just the traditional brush bristles in a spiral), so it's all in the formula. It certainly is not a natural-looking mascara, but it's great for a night look or something dramatic. Though I must say, for the ladies who like to layer and brush on many coats, this may not be the ideal mascara because of the formula's thickness. It only takes a couple brush-through's to coat all the lashes and volumize. So, many coats would actually create spidery and spikey lashes not to mention loads of clumps! There are no flakes or smudging after a long day, but it also does to disappear a little bit by the time night rolls around. Not my favorite
I liked the brush on this and the price. It was only $2.99 at my local Walgreens. However, I find that the formula is not very volumizing for something that is marketed as such. It does lengthen but I find it a bit to sticky so it makes my lashes look sparse and clumpy with weird little knobs at the ends. It is very black, though. My Fav Mascara of the Moment
Almost every mascara clumps on me. It is a fact that I have come to accept. But this cheap mascara does not clump! I use it everyday for a 'my lashes, but better' look. I don't love this mascara but I don't hate it either. I feel like it does a pretty good job at giving volume but by the middle of the day it falls flat. I do reapply in the afternoon and it layers well without clumping or looking to "spidery" You can't beat the price though. Great Mascara for the Price
I know of two YouTube channels that have recommended this $3 drugstore mascara so I figured something must be truly special about it. The formula is thick and packs a great double punch of volume and pigment, which makes it great for nighttime wear or if you want your lashes to be uber-noticeable. The ends of my lashes also get little knobs or else look like they're curling back down to my lower lids at the tip (is this phenomenon the same as getting "spider legs"?) but if they really bother me I run a lash comb through or gently pinch n' pluck the tips off with my fingers. I like this mascara's price. I got it from the Jordana Cosmetics website for only 3 bucks. Based on the price, I wasn't expecting much, but I thought I would give it a try. Omg there is absolutely nothing bad to say about this mascara. I just can't be more pleased with a drugstore product with only a $2.99 price tag. It doesn't clump up my lashes or make them stick together, it does not flake off onto your cheek at all which is a pet peeve of mine, and it makes my lashes extremely volumized and longer. I never really cared for Jordana cosmetics because it just seemed like one of those cheap makeup lines that sell stuff that does not work. I was surprised at how small (short) the bristles are but...read more that is perfect for the bottom lash line. The mascara really does work. It volumized my lashes and gave a bit of length as well. My lashes do not look clumpy and I can easily layer on a second coat without the pigments clumping together. The color is dark but nor overly dramatic. I am super happy I bought this mascara and I wish I found it so much sooner. I highly recommend this to everyone. Great Mascara for the Price
Was not 100% sold on this mascara at first. However, with time I have grown to really like it. Excellent color - intense black and does add length. Downside, a little on the clumpy side and makes my lower lashes a little hard. I have found that being a little sparse with the amount of mascara I apply does help.
