BEWARE!! It burned my daughter's face!
I ordered a trial size of X-Out a few months back for my daughter. She tried it once and it left burns on her face. She thought maybe she had used too much, or that she left it on too long. After her face healed, she tried it again and used a pea sized amount and left it on for 2 minutes - again it burned her face - we threw it out. I have been charged 3x since then. Once for $23.34 and twice fo...read morer $22.74. I called their consumer affairs department and spoke with Susan (who was obviously lacking in customer service training) who informed me that the 3 additional charges were for the 90 day supply they sent me. I told her I didn't receive a 90 day supply, and because of the way it hurt my daughter's face I was not interested in receiving one. Susan was EXTREMELY condescending and informed me they have a tracking number proving it was delivered. I asked her who signed for it and she said a signature was not necessary, that it was left in the mailbox. I told her that maybe they delivered it to the wrong house (I was thinking out loud as to what could have possibly happened to it) all she said was, "I have proof it was delivered." So no possibility of human error, eh Susan? Wow, this lady was a real snot and her tone was completely unacceptable. I was not happy that she was asking for personal information about my daughter either (name, birthday). She said they would send me an affidavit to fill out out and sign for the product and that I wouldn't be charged anymore. I told her I called a month ago and the person I spoke with at that time told me the same thing and I asked her what I was to do if that happened again. She provided no apology, just a bad disposition and an obvious annoyance in her voice telling me this time I would receive it. I suppose we'll see... Stay away from this company! When a company thinks it's ok to be as condescending as Susan, you can be sure they don't care at all about their customers, only being inconvenienced by having to actually do their jobs.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Xout wash in treatment
I've suffered from horrible acne in the past but I've always been able to use over the counter products to keep it calm. Over the past year my face began to break out for no reason any product I would try seemed to doom my face! My brother had an extra box of xout and within two days my face has cleared up! Worst product ever!
Well I thought this product was going to help clear my acne but it made it so much worse! I use to have a small amount of whiteheads but now I have a bunch of cystic acne and cysts! I may have to be on accutane now because of this. X out - Made it worse
I was pretty excited about the idea of having a face wash that would do what numerous acne systems haven't been able to but if this product did anything, it made my acne WORSE. I went from having a decent amount of smaller, easy-ish to cover acne to having a bunch of big, painful and hard to handle ones! It was awful. I gave it a week of trying different things like changing my makeup brush to a n...read moreew one, using it only once a day, washing for longer or shorter amounts of time, everything just seemed to make it worse and when I finally stopped using it my skin returned to the way it was before. I don't recommend. Worst product ever , nightmare service
Honestly I'm not the person who makes posts on websites like these, but never have i ever been more irritated then i am right now. X Out by proactive is the WORST product I have ever tried in my life, and honestly, I can't stand it. I ordered a 30 day supply + cleansing bar, and specifically told them I do not want to be on there list. they ended up totally screwing me over. So this is what happen...read moreed 2 weeks later, and i have no package , but then i have another receipt , so then I call x-out, and they say that they don't have that noted and that i can receive an aferdavid for the bottles I never received. so another 2 weeks later, I received a 90 day supply when I asked for a 30 day, and I never even received my 30 day. so at this point I'm furious , I've now asked for something and not even got what i asked for , and now i've been charged 120$ because the 30day+ the 90 day. So i call them and completely fuss them out. and they all beat around the bush saying I ordered it when i specifically only wanted the 30 day, so I cancel my subscription. and once again, they say ok, ok, and aferdavid will be sent to you. so much to my surprise I wake up and find another charge on my credit card from x out AGAIN, so i call them and ask why am I still being charged , I've canceled 2 times now and they say because i didn't cancel within 30 there charging me with another 90 day package, and here's the best part of the whole thing. I ordered x- out June 30 for the 30 day supply and then they charged me july 11, for a 90 day supply and finally August 5th , so you tell me how I got charged for 2 90 days and 1 30 day ( which I still haven't received) in a matter of not even 90 days? the customer service was rude, the product was not worth the money. and I have received 1 package in the 3 months that they where supposedly sending it to me. so even if I did ask for that ridiculous subscription every month, they still are in a horrible position because they didn't send anything that they where supposed to "send" so I am completely done with x-out and I am posting my experiences everywhere , so no one has to experience the nightmare I experienced.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

decent but not great
I've used every version of Proactiv--gentle, regular, extra strength--and none of them got rid of all my acne. I loved X Out the first time I tried it, but after a few weeks I'm still breaking out just as much and the chemical smell is SO strong. I can smell it on my face! It's less drying than proactiv but I've also found that my makeup does not go on as smoothly with this.
