This eyeliner DOES NOT SMUDGE!
Considering it's a very creamy eyeliner and very pigmented, I was pleasantly surprised how long it lasted throughout the day and the fact that it did not smudge at all!!! It's a very long lasting eyeliner that you could easily blend to soften too. Update
After some thought, I learned to sharpen the tip of this liner by just lightly spinning the tip on a piece of paper, creating a cone-shaped, sharpened point. It's a bit wasteful, but worth it. But be GENTLE, or it will break. I've used this stuff almost every day since my last review of it and have fallen madly, wildly in love with this stuff. Pure gorgeousness, pure deep true color and no smudging on my eyes. Wanted to Love, But NOT for Contacts
I love this liner. Really. It's dark and inky, glides on smooth, doesn't smudge...it's a dream. I thought I hit the jackpot with this liner...and then I wore it with my contacts in. This completely blurred out my contacts no matter how many times i blinked or washed them out...just put black spots all over. I tried to wear it another time and not line my undereye,but soon or later...i couldn't see again. I kept trying to wear this because it goes on BEAUTIFULLY and is truly perfect, but nope, could never work with my contacts. I got plenty of compliments on my eye make up when i wore it, too bad I couldn't see it myself. Works Well
I really like this eyeliner. It is highly pigmented and glides on smoothly. I love the black and violet. It did not smudge a lot for me. I did find I went through this eyeliner really quickly though and I wish a sharpener was included. Blackest Black
This is by far the blackest black I have seen for an eyeliner. It glides on easily and stays on for hours. I have to usually re apply after 5 hours to get the same intense darkness. I have noticed that it runs a little on the bottom lashes but that's also after extensive use. Just started using it
I haven't really been one to use eyeliner, but I decided to pick this up. This eyeliner does transfer to the top of my lid sometimes, which is really my only issue with it. Although that can be prevented by using a primer before hand, and I also put eyeshadow on top to make sure it stays put. It's not the best... it's a retractable pencil so you don't have to go through the hassle of sharpening them. For me, it smudges after a few hours of wearing it. Very creamy, very pigmented, and application is great - it glides on easily. Smears
I bought this eyeliner as a more budget-friendly and non waterproof option for my favorite Stila stay all day waterproof. Everything went well with this Maybelline eyeliner (at first), the pigment is rich and stays true to its original color, it is easy to apply, glides smoothly. My only issue was that after a couple of hours, it smeared on my eyelid - not a sexy look. I am not getting rid of it, as I figure I can use it for short periods of time. Not worth it
