This actually works for me. Had a few dark spots caused by sun damage on my face, and this product actually faded them. I used to use Hydroquinone to lighten up the melasma on my face and arms but since stopped after reading the bad side effects. I was thrilled when Philosophy came out with a dark spot corrector that is paraben-free and natural. I tested it on a stubborns dark spot I had on my arm and noticed it lightening up significantly but it took a good month to see results. The only disadvantage is the price. Its a lot more expensive than Clinique's dark spot corrector but Clinique is not paraben-free and that's a big deal to me. I have sun damage around my mouth (looked like melasma) but also on my forehead/eyebrows which just appeared in the last year and it was really dark (i'm 32...used to go to the tanning beds & got burned on the beach last year). it really bothered me & was hard to cover with foundation & /or concealer. i didn't even use foundation before they appeared. i've been using the philosophy miracle worker set for almost 2 months with slight improvement. a few days after i started using the dark spot corrector, things really started to clear up, and it's better ever day. discoloration around mouth is no longer visible, lightening other spots on forehead and eyebrow area daily. i'm using less make-up as it gets better. really worked for me. i tried lancome without results. — 3 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 25 of 28 people said helpful
