Too Faced Natural Eye Palette Reviews

A bestseller
This is nice for a daytime smoky eye. It has pinks and cream for highlight and neutral/natural colors for the smoky eye effect. I use Urban Decay primer. The colors go on smoothly, really last, and are true. I highly recommend this product. — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 6 people said helpful

Love this set!
I love Too Faced! These shadows are pigmented, and work best when using the Too Faced Shadow Insurance eye primer. If you love super satin sheen and neutral colors, then this set is great for you. I never use the applicator that comes with this. — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Love, Love, Love!
This is my first eyeshadow palette from Too Faced and I have to say I'm very impressed! I will definitely be trying more! The colors are very pigmented and fun to play with. What it does: The kit's contents were formulated and hand-selected by Too Faced Creative Director, Jerrod Blandino, to create the most universally flattering eyeshadow look for any woman and for almost any occasion. The pure-pigmented eyeshadow formula blends effortlessly and keeps color intense and in-place all day long. Seriously awesome! True to color, easy to apply, and great for a simple yet noticeable daytime look. All of the looks included on the cards are easy, especially for beginners and the majority of the colors can be mixed and matched to create other looks as well. Cannot go wrong for the price ($36.00). Lasting shadows, awesome colors, great for travel. I can't recommend this and all other Too Faced kits enough! =) — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Classic Must Have
For a makeup junkie/collector, this is a no brainer staple to own. The neutral colors are classic, and it's nice that they mixed shimmers and mattes. All are flattering colors, and their eyeshadow formulas have improved so much in the last decade. They are softer, smoother, and longer lasting. I still need to use primers though. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Love this palette!
I love this slim little palette. The shadows are smooth and soft and very pretty. I took a star off because a mirror would have been nice. I want more too faced palettes now! — 12 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not as wonderful as some other neutral palettes
The top row is the standard matte that can be used for anything. The second row is a little edgier due to the shimmer in the shadows, but it is still easy to do subtle. The third row deemed “fashion” is a fun one to work with. Lets get started with the colors. “Day” Heaven is a cream/white that is devoid of nearly any other color, no subtle pink or blue or anything here; it goes on quite sheer. Velvet Revolver is taupe. It reminds me of the walls in my living room. Anyway it is a matte and goes on with a nice medium-full coverage. Sexpresso is a dark brown matte, about the color of a shot of espresso (hence the name) it goes on very pigmented but blends out super well if you are going for more subtle. Line two “Classic”. Silk Teddy is a shimmery pink/coral with fairly sheer coverage – Very pretty. Push-Up is a milk chocolate colored shimmer goes on medium – full coverage. Erotica is a greyish purple shimmer. It goes on full coverage, but as with all of them it can be blended beautifully. Finally, “Fashion” consists of Nude Beach a glitter pink – I swear that all I get is sparkles, no real eyeshadow. Honey Pot is a golden brown shimmer. It goes on with a nice full coverage. Coco Puff is a dark brown shimmer which goes on with a medium coverage. All of these are smooth and if you “tap” your brush there is little fall out. With my primer I can get a full 12 hour work day plus a few hours at home. Overall this is NOT my favorite palette, but IT IS a good palette and not without its merits. It is silky and smooth, stays on, has nice neutral colors and blends super well. Would I buy it again? Yes, once I run out if they still have it. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Great Palette
I normally wear natural eye makeup so I was excited when I picked up this palette and it is the only eye shadow that I use now. The darker shadows work great as an eyeliner color. The only thing I do not like about it is the Nude Beach color is too glittery. — 2 weeks, 5 days agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Everyday Go To Palette
I received this as a gift and could not wait to use it! I had heard a lot about it in the past but had never really swatched it or looked into it. At first I was skeptical because I have super sensitive eyes and I had tried my sisters identical palette and it irritated them terribly. I have also never tried any eyeshadows from Too Faced so I was not sure how my eyes would react. Fortunately, this shadow formula does not bother me at all and I cannot wait to invest in more of these eye palette collections. The "day" top row colors (Heaven, Velvet Revolver, Sexspresso) are all completely matte and are extremely pigmented. Heaven is great for NC15 girlies like me who want an all over lid color and looks great with Velvet Revolver in the crease with winged pin-up eyeliner. Sexspresso is an awesome dark brown that I have also used for my eyebrows when I have forgotten my eyebrow palette. The "classic" middle row consists of all shimmer shadows (Silk Teddy, Push-Up, Erotica). Silk Teddy often replaced my holy grail all over eye color, Nylon by MAC. It is a lot more subtle and has a beautiful shimmer. Push-Up and Erotica are great outer-v and crease colors as they have a lot of dimension. They are all very smooth, have little to no fall-out, and are extremely pigmented! The "fashion" last row has two hits and a miss... All of the shadows (Nude Beach, Honey Pot, Cocoa Puff) have shimmer with Cocoa Puff having some fine glitter and Nude Beach having an enormous amount. The only shade that I do not use AT ALL in this row, and palette, is Nude Beach. It has almost no pigmentation once put on the eye with a brush and has a lot of glitter fall out. If you swatch it with your finger you will notice that it has a very gritty feeling that I usually do not fancy in a shadow... Besides Nude Beach this is an excellent palette and the only reason I am only giving it 9 stars. Unfortunately it is a higher end palette and I like my money (and a gift givers) to be well spent! — 1 month, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Love
I love this palette. If you can't afford the UD naked palettes you should definitely check this one out. It has the perfect colors for creating everyday looks without getting bored. — 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

My Ultimate
This and Urban Decay's Naked palette are my ultimate eye shadows. I might even put this one ahead of naked because of my love for silk teddy. They recommend using it as a highlighter but it is my absolute favorite eye lid color. Whenever I wear it I get sooo many compliments and push up is a nice compliment. Seriously I recommend everyone buying this palette, it is one of those products that makes me feel extra pretty. — 10 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
