The worst thing I've ever put on my face
I returned it immediately. It was cakey, too orangey, felt slimy then sticky when it dried, looked streaky, and made my face dry and start to break out instantly. It looked like a nice liquid foundation, comparable to my old reliable foundation for like 3 dollars. However, it wasn't even really a liquid, and was not worth the three dollars. Great Foundation
This have over the past 6 months become my favorite foundation. When I ran out of my old foundation I was looking for a cheep alternative at my local Target. I came across the Rimmel London Clean Finish Foundation. At less than $4 I couldn't pass up trying it. I was very suprised when I got home to try it. The spatula wand it the best thing to get the foundation out and the perfect amount onto the back of your hand. I always apply with a primer and a foundation brush and the foundation went on flawlessly. At first it does appear a bit oily and does take a few minutes to set. Once it had dried however, you really do look poreless! I always set with a light powder because I do tend to get oily thoughout the day in my t-zone. The foundation with a light powdering does stay the entire day with minimal touch up of powder depending on how oily you become. I have repurchased twice now and am in love with this product. I went out yesterday and bought the matte version of the product and I am hoping it is just as good. Unimpressed
I'm a big fan of Rimmel. It's affordable, and offers good quality products. However, this one missed the mark. The foundation has a sour smell, turns noticeably orange within minutes of application, won't blend, makes my face appear even more oily, transfers easily, provides barely any coverage, and is streaky. The only good thing about it is it's applicator. Not For Me
I bought this foundation because it was half the price of the foundation I normally buy. The consistency and shade seemed nice but as soon as I applied it to my face the foundation turned orange. The consistency also turned cakey and very unnatural looking. It also seemed to make me break out a little which has never been a problem for me before. Surprised!
Judging by the price, I didn't really have high expectations for this foundation. But I bought it anyway to give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I really like it! I actually like that it's not the typical consistency of a liquid foundation, it's more like a paste (which does make it hard to put on at first but you just have to get used to it). It doesn't make my face oily like my previous foundation did and it covers pretty well. I don't think it makes my skin look orange or cakey. Pleasant Surprise
I was surprised that this foundation worked for me, this makes me happy because it is not pricey. It is a bit thick so a bit goes a long way and for the first minute it makes me look like a ghost. After a minute or two of applying it settles on my skin and works with my tone. it is my everyday foundation and its also buildable, I put a little more for nights out (which are rare).
