For my colored hair
This shampoo is creamy, somewhat low-foaming formula, yet it leaves my hair clean. Currently I have colored hair, and this Monoi Repairing Shampoo doesn't strip the color. I like their sweet buttery scent. Two minor things that I noticed: 1) I don’t know because this is sulfate-free shampoo, it is a little bit hard to wash out (even with low lather). 2) Their matching conditioner (or hair mask) is a must for me. Without it, my hair felt a bit “thirsty” and became harder to comb out. Low on suds
I usually don't mind if a shampoo has lots of suds, but this one has a low suds factor. It smells divine, and I am sensitive to perfume-y smells. This has a light scent that makes it that much nicer. Great for curly hair
I have naturally curly long hair that tends to frizz and is very dry, after the first use i had no frizz and my hair felt softer and shiner than ever and my curls had perfect shape I do not love the scent but it is not bad. great for damaged hair
I was really excited to find a whole line dedicated to being free of sulfate and all harsh chemicals. The fact that the whole line is free of sulfate was wonderful because normally in that category there's not a whole lot of options and to have a whole line dedicated to that was a breath of fresh air. I was really hesitant to buy the full sizes of the monoi collection so I got the starters kit from Ulta. Using this product I saw less breakage immediately, within the first day or too. Because its sulfate free you do need to use a little more shampoo to get it to sud and clean your hair but its also not stripping your hair which is a huge plus. After about a month or so I noticed my hair was stronger and definitely had a more shine than it before. I went out and bought the full size bottles. I love sulfate free shampoos, so that was great about this product, but that is about all. I received a sample in the HSN Total Beauty Collection in October 2012 and was not impressed. One of my favorites
Tried this shampoo after I received a sample from HSN Total Beauty Collection, gave me three servings of this shampoo, and it was enough for me to know that I like it. One of the great things about it is that it's Sulfate-free, that alone will make it attractive to me. It was gentle on my dry and frizzy hair, very nice smell and it was easy to wash my hair and manage it afterwords. It cleanses and detangles your hair, and I have never tried a product that contains Monoi Oil, which according to the package information, is a secret ingredient in this shampoo. Smells amazing!
I love the way this shampoo smells! It really transports me to Hawaii! It has a nice lather, rinses out easily and helped my damaged hair, it felt softer and looked much smoother. Not my favorite
Unfortunately I wasn't crazy about this product. I'm sensitive to smells and I thought this shampoo had too strong of a fragrance. I also found it difficult to get an adequate lather.
