Sulfate Free!
After wetting my hair, I applied a good amount to my hair, and I was disturbed that it didn't suds up. But, after I rinsed it out, my hair was completely untangly and clean even before the conditioner. I was amazed. Then I used the conditioner that goes with it, and my hair is so manageable; no tangles as all, and when I air dryed it, it wasn't fuzzy or weird, which usually happens. I really recommend this shampoo and conditioner. — 9 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Lovely Scent + Repairing damaged hair!
When a product smells good, it just sets the right mood and makes my day that much better. I mean you have to deal with your hair all day, so why not have it smelling amazing. That's just my two cents on why this product deserves to be praised for it's unique yet quite lovely alluring scent. I mean I can't put my hand on what exactly that scent is but if I were to guess, it's probably the Monoi Oil - "an ancient recipe made from the rejuvenating Tahitian Tiare Gardenia Flower and Coprah Coconut Oil. So not only does this Monoi Oil smell amazing, it also helps to repair fine, delicate, and chemically treated hair which sounds exactly like my hair type. This Monoi Repairing shampoo definitely helps to cleanse and detangle while also restoring strength to my hair! I enter the shower not knowing what to expect from this product, but I come out feeling beautiful knowing that my hair is being repaired and getting stronger with each passing moment. To have it smell amazing is just an extra-added bonus that’s like the icing on the cake! Simply wet your hair in the shower, and apply the shampoo into a good lather before rinsing and repeating if needed. There’s also the pre caution as with any other shampoo is to keep it out of your delicate precious eyes! I simply close my eyes when I’m rinsing so that’s not something I need to worry about. Washing your hair no longer seems like a chore and is actually quite enjoyable when you’re washing your hair with Carol’s Daughter’s Monoi Repairing sulfate-free shampoo. That’s right, not only does this shampoo smell good, it’s also good for your hair as well by having all the right ingredients and leaving out the bad! — 9 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Did not repair my hair--seemed to do the opposite
I tried both Carol's Daughter Monoi Repairing Shampoo and Conditioner, and they didn't seem to help my hair at all--in fact, they seemed to do the exact opposite. I have a lot of hair, but it's fine and color-treated and quite damaged. I was hoping that this sulfate-free formula would be gentle and moisturizing, but it actually seemed to make my hair more dry and tangled after I'd used it. The scent is quite strong--kind of smells like hairspray, but I think it's the monoi oil and the gardenia. Someone said my hair smelled great! But these products didn't work for me at all. :( — 9 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 5 people said helpful

I thought the scent was too strong when it first came out of the container, but once my hair dried, it didn't smell that strong. It made my hair soft. — 9 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

good shampoo
I liked that it was sulfate free. I felt like I had to use more product since it didn't suds up, which may have caused my hair to become even more dry. The scent is absolutely fabulous though! — 9 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not for my hair
I am not a fan of this product. It smells fantastic, but that is about the only thing I liked about it. It had a really odd syrup like texture that I found hard to spread on my hair. It left my hair feeling incredibly dry and, worst of all, it left it a tangled mess! I have tried other sulfate free shampoos and will be sticking with them, not this one. — 9 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not bad!
I really like this shampoo, it feels more like a conditioner than a shampoo, but it's not too moisturizing, either. I don't love it, but I do enjoy it! — 9 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Just okay
I also have really thick, chemically treated hair with really bad split ends. This shampoo seemed gentle enough since it doesn't contain sulfates. So I tried it, and I think it smells wonderful. I had to use it twice because the first time around it didn't make enough lather, the second time around it was better. I have to say my scalp felt cleaner and it smells great. Leaves hair clean and smells wonderful. I did get compliments on the way my hair smelled, and I think you can skip the perfume when washing your hair with this, since the smell is so strong, and not in an unpleasant way. Good for every day use, but I recommend using it every other day. — 9 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Works Great ... if you can get used to no suds.
I personally prefer shampoos that contain sulfate, as I find it both more pleasurable to use (I like my suds) & it makes my hair feel cleaner. Suds aside (there were none), this shampoo smelled great & left my hair feeling soft and manageable. I would recommend it for those who like sulfate-free shampoos. — 9 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Worked great for me!
I tried a sample of this shampoo and was happy with the way it left my hair after. It cleansed my hair well and made it soft, shiny and feeling strong. I bet with regular use it would really benefit my hair. The scent is so good, my husband stayed in the bathroom talking to me so he could smell it. I have LOTS of thick hair and even though it says it's for fine hair it worked well for my hair. — 9 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
