Pretty good yo..

its alright
I wanted to try this because it gets real good reviews, but I find that it is just ok. I got the color "gunmetal" and its a really pretty gray color with some shimmer in it. However the little brush it comes with makes it a little hard to make a nice thin straight line like I usually like to do, and I have always been real good at applying my eyeliner it's one of the things I often get complime...read morents on but with this I have to work at it. Maybe I am just not used to it because I'm used to pencil eyeliners. If it was easier to apply I would really like it as an eyeliner. When I apply it, it actually ends up looking more like eye shadow, so I actually just use it as if it were a cream eye shadow and it looks really great for a smoky eye look. The packaging as with all of Elf's studio line is really sophisticated looking it doesn't look like it came from the drugstore. It has good lasting power too, I have been out with it and didn't fade or anything so overall its a pretty good product, as with most of Elf's products its really descent for the price. Dry and Unpleasant
I bought this in the purple/eggplant shade at Target for super cheap. And I now know why. It was very dry right out of the jar. I was hoping for a moister, creamier consistency but this stuff was hard and dry. It took quite a few uncomfortable swipes on my eyelid for me to get the color payoff I wanted and it just wasn't worth it for me. Too much work for too little reward. I really like this liner. I have it in Coffee & Purple. I just checked it & it's still where I applied it. Unlike the pencil liners I usually use which disappear. The brush it comes with is handy too. But the best part is I was able to get them for $1.50 after using an online coupon for 50% off. Pretty darn good for 3 dollars!
Its not the best eyeliner I've ever used in my life but for a 3$ liner it does everything an eyeliner is supposed to. Its a tiny bit on the clumpy side sometimes but its easy to work with and clean up.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Liking it
I am an eyeliner fiend, but I like a slightly smudgy, thickish line and not much underneath the eye to get the glamourish, doe-eyed, girl-next-door meets glamour puss look. I go back and forth from different brands and formulas. I spied this in my local Target and thought it would be fun to try out. I got two different colors - the gray and the brown. I really like both colors. I was afraid the br...read moreown one was going to be too light but it is a dark brown, almost brownish-black. The little brush it comes with is ok, but I prefer to use one of my liner brushes. This stuff just glides on with ease and lasts all day, but I had a bit of smudging. Elf cream eyeliner
Works for me, I already went the two of them. For me it does the job lining my eyelids. Makes the perfect wing!
I'm wearing it right now and I've gotten many compliments on how precise and good it looks! I don't use the brush it came with because I feel like I can't get enough control since it is so small.
