I use this after conditioning my hair. I put it on, wrap plastic wrap around my hair and leave it on for about 1 hour. (when I have the time). I color my hair so I want to make sure it is not damaged. I also put it on my hair at night, wrap in plastic, and shampoo it out in the morning. I have fine, damaged, poker-straight hair and my daughter has fine, curly, dry hair... and this leave in treatment is perfect for both of us! It helps keep my hair smooth and shiny and it helps keep her curls soft and manageable without weighing them down. We both use it daily and have better hair for it!
