Neutrogena to the Rescue!
It seems like it was just last week that I would purchase clear Neutrogena anti-acne soap to keep teenage blemishes at bay. It worked well and I wondered why my friends didn't do the same. Now I'm relying on the same company to banish wrinkles as well (where DOES the time go?). It was the trustworthiness of the Neutrogena name which sold me on their "Rapid Wrinkle Repair Eye Cream;" with a promise that I would see results, I knew I could return it if I were unhappy. But returning this is out of the question--this cream works! Period. It has a sleek, satiny feel and seeps into skin quickly (a heavy, oily cream in the eye area can cause fluid to be retained and eyes to puff). Moreover, it is totally fragrance-free. The real beauty of this product lies in three key ingredients working together--Retinol SA, Glucose Complex, and Hyaluronic Acid. Retinol SA (an abbreviation for Retinol--Sustained Action, unique to Neutrogena) is used as an anti-aging component. This patented version of Retinol evens skin's texture and tone. With continued use, wrinkles do disappear. It has the ability to continue working up to twelve hours after application to mend skin damage. For some people, this ingredient can be slightly harsh. Initially I found a mild burning. I switched from using it every night to every other night. My skin became accustomed to the Retinol SA, and severity was no longer a problem. I went back to daily use. Beware, however: Skin exposed to any form of Retinol is much more vulnerable to sun damage. Thus, a good sunscreen is in order to protect delicate tissue (actually, a good sunscreen is always in order). Neutrogena claims that Glucose Complex speeds the effectiveness of the Retinol SA. I won't disagree here; within just a few days, the tiny fine lines around my eyes had gone. Hyaluronic Acid--another wildly popular name in skin care these days--adds moisture to hydrate, rejuvenate, and plump skin, further erasing the appearance of unwanted creases. For a cost of about $20.00, I find this a steal. Not only are lines no longer a problem, but there is a new clarity and brightness to my eye area. Thanks again, Neutrogena. Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Eye Cream
I was invited to have a party featuring Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair eye cream and I am very pleased with the results I am seeing. I have used it for a little over two weeks and I am noticing a real difference. My fine lines are almost gone, my deeper lines are smoothing out quite nicely. I like the way the product feels on my skin, I like the results I see in my skin. I have found that it doesn't affect my cosmetic application or wear, and I use it in the morning and at night. I can't wait to hear the feed back from my guests. Great!
Nice quality eye cream, helps with fine lines. I notice a difference already after using this product for a week. Does not have a scent that I noticed and did not bother my eyes like some other creams have. Very nice eye cream
This is a very smooth, hydrating eye cream. I really enjoy using this each day and I apply it in the morning and before bed at night. It seems to be improving the fine lines in the corners of my eyes. My eye area looks so much brighter that I truly haven't used a highlighter pen or eye brightener since about the second or third day of application. Will Not Make Eyes Puffy
I have a real problem with dark circles and puffiness around my eyes. This cream is ultra-smooth, and I do not wake up with increased bags, as I do with many others. Love it!!
I love this line of Neutrogena creams. I use it religiously! My skin looks great, especially compared to my friends that are my age. I'm very fair skinned, too, and extra sensitive in the sun. I use the SPF lotion that goes with this eye cream, as well as the nite cream. This eye cream really helps replenish my skin's moisture at the end of the day. It even helps plump it up if I start looking a little tired or thin under the eyes. The reason I started using this product is because I'd tried so many others that REALLY irritated my skin. I have to be really careful because I've had my eyes completely swell up and shut before from similar products (similar to how a dog's eyes look after they chomp down on a bee - ouch!) Sigh...
Not sure if this will be a fair review or not. I have been using this retinol eye cream for about 2 weeks now. I'm in my late twenties, so I am using this as my first retinol to try to prevent lines around the eyes, and I was beginning to notice very small fine lines forming from years of smiling. Everyone has talked about the stinging/burning sensation from using this type of cream and I didn't experience it until the 4th night of use. But it still didn't seem like it was making much of a difference, or either my fine lines are so fine that I don't have enough wrinkles to notice a difference? I even started using the eye cream in the morning and at night time (with an spf of course), since the retinol makes your skin even more susceptible to sun damage. I will continue to use until it is all gone, but if I don't see any noticeable changes for the better, I will be disappointed. At least the price is reasonable compared to other retinol creams.
