Won't remove makeup completely.
If you're looking for a refreshing wipe for your face after the gym, or pre-pool, these will do. But they aren't good at removing makeup. They smell nice, the packaging is cute and keeps the wipes dry without leaking, and the price is reasonable, but they just don't do enough for me. I have to agree with the other reviewer that these are not great for removing all your makeup. But if your looking for a quick clean before bed or after a work out these are awesome and smell fantastic! Great Towellettes!
These towellettes are so easy to use and perfect on nights when I really don't feel like washing my face or I'm just so tired i just want to skip my cleansing routine and head to bed! I love how sensitive it was for my skin as well. I used it to remove mascara and it didn't sting my eyes at all. Terrible!
I honestly can't say anything positive about these. Perhaps I just got a bad package, but it makes me wonder about quality control. The first several wipes were dried out in the middle. Once I got a wipe that was moist, the wipe had a very strong scent. It took an absurd amount of scrubbing to get the makeup off my face. The smell the product left on my face was like when moisturizer turns - a rather metallic smell. This stuff stung my eyes like crazy (and my eyes are not sensitive). Gentle
I try not to use facial towelettes if I can help it, but it is nice to have some on hand for those evenings that you just can't be bothered. What stood out to be about these is they actually feel soft against my skin. I have used towelettes from a few other brands and these have definitely been the softest. I like the Blueberry scent but I think it is too strong. I usually use face wipes when I'm at my boyfriend's and he always complains about the smell. I'd prefer it if these were just unscented all together, especially to avoid any potential irritation. I probably wouldn't repurchase these because they are essentially the same thing as a baby wipe, except more expensive. Yes To Blueberries
These came highly recommended to me, so I purchased these and one other package of cloths from another part of the line. These do NOT remove every last bit of make-up as they say they will. I normally take my make-up off as soon as I take out my contacts at the end of the day. Later on in the evening I will then wash my face with my Clarisonic and that is when the make-up truly comes off for good. These cloths leave behind a film of make-up, even if you use two or three clothes, make-up is still left behind. These rarely, if ever, get all of my eye make-up off. I use one or two of these clothes on my entire face and then turn to a make-up remover from Make Up For Ever or Lancome to get the leftover mascara and liner that these cloths always leave behind. Also, I store these in Hefty One-Zips (I do that with all of my cleansing cloths because it keeps them from drying out), so they should be retaining plenty of moisture, but they're some of the driest cleansing/make-up removing cloths I've EVER used. Not refreshing
I loved the fragrance of these wipes, but they weren't very refreshing. They were not able to remove my eye makeup as the package suggested, and didn't leave my skin feeling very clean. I felt like there was a bit of a residue left after I used them, and I think they may have clogged my pores somewhat. They might work for people with dry skin, though. I noticed that other products in this line are supposed to be anti-aging, so maybe it just wasn't a good choice for my skin type. Great for daily use
I love these towelettes and use them every evening to remove my makeup. They contain just the right amount of moisture to loosen mascara, and break up the oils on my face. They are large enough as well.. I will even cut them in half and use only a half to make the package last longer (they are a little too expensive, for me). I like the scent and have never felt any burning or stinging when I use them. Great
I really liked these wipes. The scent is great, not too overpowering or chemically. They almost have a citrusy scent that is really refreshing. Plus, these didn't make my face break out or feel irritated at all and did a really good job of taking all my makeup off. They're also a pretty decent price. Once I got towards the end of the pack, the wipes did seem a little dry.
