Affordable but not the best
I have the Real Techniques Core Collection and love two of that set's brushes for many different things. I bought the stippling brush because I had never tried one before. Real Techniques is a solid brand that is extremely affordable so I figured it would be a good introduction to the stippling brush for me. The brush does its job pretty well but not great. It is synthetic (as are all Real Techniques brushes) and works nicely with cream products. The look of these is awful though. It is a tacky, shiny pink color and the handle is too thick for my liking. These are extremely lightweight since they are made of aluminum. This makes them great for travel, however, on a day to day basis I actually prefer a heavier, more sturdy feeling handle. I wanted this specifically for cream blush application. I find that this is a bit big for blush on me, but it still works well enough if I'm careful about placement. I wish that this was more densely packed with bristles. The brush isn't nearly as full as I expected and I find that it affects my makeup application. I don't like using this for applying foundation. After having this brush a few months and trying it with different things, I noticed that I wasn't really using it anymore. I bought the MAC 130, which is their short, small version of the duo fiber stippling brush and it really blew me away. After using that brush, which is densely packed, super soft and easy to use, I realized that the Real Techniques stippling brush leaves much to be desired.
