I got a free sample of this and I was really excited to give it a try. The claim is that it will make even the dryest skin smooth and feel moisturized. I probably have one of the dryest faces in the country! My skin eats up my moisturizer like their is no tomorrow. No joke. So, i tried this and Iwas actually not so happy with the scent. I am normally not the person to complain about a fragrance of a product, since I LOVE smells. But, this was a little too strong. The smell is very floral- but in an old lady kind of way. I also HATED te texture. It was a cobo of a cream and a gel. Terrible. Later, I found out the high percentage of silica was causing my skin to irritate. I gerally don;'t have sensitive skin at all, and the only time silica bother me is if it has a HUGE percentage of it in the product. Plus, I know silica is not the best thing for the skin- so I'm confused. A moisturizer to make your skin healthy, but with an ingrediant that is not good for your skin. Hmmm. I gave the rest of the sample to my mom(slightly oily skin) and she loves it. She ordered a full sizd one, went through that, then ordered another. But, although she loves the product and it comes in a big jar for $20 - I was surprised at how fast it went for her. It's ok...
I got a sample of this with a Sephora order and have been using it as my night moisturizer. It's ok. It goes on well and seems to moisturize as well as anything, but there's nothing really spectacular about it that I can see and I certainly don't love it as much as some other moisturizers I've used. I haven't had any trouble with breakouts or irritated skin since I started using it. Great Moisturizer.
This is one of my favorite moisturizers, and I have tried almost all of them. It sinks into your skin, doesn't just sit on top, it's not greasy, smells great (the scent will eventually dissipate), makes your skin feel softer and look more "plump", and I love it under my makeup so much that I no longer use a primer! I use it in the morning and at night without any skin irritation (I have super sensitive skin), oiliness, greasiness, flakiness, etc. and it keeps my skin moisturized all day. I have a lot of moisturizers that feel great at first but as they wear throughout the day they will get greasy or my makeup will start to separate where I have dryness/oiliness. Some moisturizers will make my skin super oily in some spots and super dry in others, thankfully this one is perfect! One of the best moisturizers for the price-point. The great thing about Sephora (and any product they have) is if you don't love it, return it! But I have no reason to return this...I love it! Pretty Good Moisturizer
This moisturizer is not a deep quenching situation, it is a great one if you are not using a serum first. It does sink into the skin well, and has tiny, tiny light reflecting pigments that make your skin look amazingly healthy....I find it is too dry to use under foundation, but makes your face look wonderful on a foundationless day, with adequate moisture for intensely dry skin....it does sink in well....but I do not find it is moisturizing enough for under foundation. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
