Ding ding ding, we have a winner!

Ding ding ding, we have a winner folks, in the home hair color dept. the foam is thick, it's easy to mix, no running, and the conditioner included actually works! ( gasps) I have switched to the natural black and gave away my loreal ones I use to love. This is the best and easiest home color!! I always stock up, just in case. — 1 week, 3 days ago

    John Frieda Precision Foam

This is the best hair color I have used. It is even better than eSalon color. This is the first hair color that leaves my hair feeling natural after use. Most hair color leaves my hair feeling like straw when still wet. It covers very well, although it is difficult to apply for a root touch-up, because a tennis ball handful of foam is difficult to apply in a half inch strip. My color lasts very well as long as I use sulfate-free shampoo. This is definitely an excellent product. — 2 months ago

    Worth the price

While I could never get it to foam exactly like the box says, it still worked and gave me full coverage with a lot less mess. I use the 6red. People are shocked when they find out it isn't my natural color. My only complainants are my color is super hard to find (San Antonio isn't really the redheaded capital of the world) and out of 30 or so shades there are only four red colors. — 2 months, 3 weeks ago

    John Frieda Precision Foam Color

After researching many different at-home hair coloring products I finally chose the John Frieda Precision Foam. I have very fine hair that is easily damaged so I was concerned about harsh chemicals. This product worked well beyond my expectations. I got beautiful all-over color with wonderful texture and shine. The foam lends to easy non-drip application and no guess work to covering all strands. I will definitely use this again. — 3 months, 1 week ago

    Nice Color but...

I have dark brown hair and I purchased the Dark Cherry Brown. The color came out nice and even but seemed to fade within a few weeks even with washing every other day and with a color safe, sulfate free shampoo and the conditioner from the box. With that said, I also bought a more red color which tends to fade faster. I did have a problem with the foam not foaming properly. I tilted the bottle the recommended five times but that did not seem like enough. On the plus side, the foam was pretty easy to apply. The gloves provided in the box were awesome. The gloves were thick and professional feeling. Also, I didn't think it took me any less time to rinse out than typical cream hair color. Overall, if I were to buy this product again I would tilt it more than five times. — 2 months, 3 weeks ago

    pretty bad.

I bought a light brown shade and was really excited to try it since foam seemed way easier than the 3 boxes of cream dye I normally have to use (I have the. thickest. hair. EVER.) The foam is very easy to use but it dries out so fast and I felt like I wasn't getting it all. I washed my hair, and that pretty-on-the-box light brown dye turned my hair BLACK. I had to go buy color oops to strip it out, it looked dull and horrible. The color was nowhere close to the box, at all. I looked so awful and would not buy this again. — 4 months ago

    maliburunner

I usually color my hair at a salon but opted to save instead and tried this at home kit. I tried John Frieda because of the name recognition and I figured since it was costlier than the others that it would be better. The first thing I noticed is that the picture of the model on the box is in black and white. So you have to pick based on the name of the color or a smaller color picture on the back of the box. I also noticed after I applied it that it did not cover any of my gray. It also left my hair feeling dry. The at home kits I've used before always seem to leave my hair super soft. Not worth the extra money. — 6 months, 3 weeks ago

    Great color, low odor.

Used 5N, it's a little dark (I'm on day 4), but in a few days I know it will begin to look more natural. I have very porous hair, so I only left on 16 min. My hair is ShinY! Covered a few grays and very little odor! Most times I can smell haircolor for a few days, but not this time (-: — 7 months ago

    John Frieda Hair Color Foam

I finally decided to try this hair color. Radiant Red , medium red brown. This is a different but easy way to apply color. I like it! — 7 months, 2 weeks ago
