Excellent!
I adore this product. I am fair skinned, but not pale. It gives me a nice healthy glow (just as advertised). It is not a self-tanner. I will not make you shades and shades darker. It does help my skin from looking sallow, which is important in the summer months. It smells nice, does not dye your hands, and has an SPF. It is also non-greasy and goes into the skin nicely. It did not work for me
I used about 5 weeks, but I did not see any result. I contacted Jergens, and they told me not to use any other toner/lotion/alcohol contained products before AND after applying it. I need to use some products to take care of my acnes. Love, love, love! (EDIT)
**** 4/14/12: Sadly, I have to edit this posting and change the rating to a 7. I am currently in vacation in Arizona and I find the moisturizing properties are not enough and the color would be great for the winter, but for the summer the medium/tan is not enough color, and I am fair/med in the summer - I should see more color. I think after this bottle is gone, I will stick to a regular moisturizer with a self tanner. The Jergens Express is nice. ***** Ladies, please be advised right off the bat that this is not a self-tanner; however, it WILL provide you with a decent SPF (20) and keep your skin from looking pale or sallow. I tend to have fair skin with an olive undertone and I use the medium/tan version. I actually think that most people could use the medium/tan, with the fair/light reserved for those that are freckled and very light skinned. I originally started using it day and night, thinking of it as more or a self-tanner, and I think it caused a bit of a breakout on my cheeks, and I went back to using it just in the morning and it works perfectly. I still apply a self-tanner at night but I just love this product. It does exactly what it says. The only reason I did not give it a 10 is because typically I don't care for products that have a SPF in them. I usually use a really good SPF like Blue Lizard or something with zinc oxide, even on my face. (I like Coppertone Sensitive w/Zinc Oxide.) My Derm once told me that if you buy a product that has SPF in it, the "molecules" do not interact well which results in a lesser SPF and a lesser foundation, or whatever it is mixed with. Perfect
I have used this 2x a day for 3 days so far and have the best color I have ever seen from a self tan product. This is easy on my delicate facial skin, and the spf 20 is such a bonus. I am in love. Darkened freckles
I think this lotion does add some color over time, unfortunately it also darkens freckles as well. I really don't like my freckles - they are all clumped at the top of my cheekbone and it just looks funny to me. Over time the freckles were really noticeable and harder to conceal. Not very moisturizing
I love that this gives natural color and that it doesn't contain comedogenic ingredients. It's not very moisturizing, however. Despite having oily skin, after a few days of use my skin started looking scaly. Great Product color & price
I love this, although my first choice is lancomes one for the face, but pricey. I use this and the body gradual tan and for the price, it's Fantastic. I love how creamy and smooth it goes on my face, it gives me a nice glow and you can't beat the price. Perfect
Perfect face lotion to buy if you use the Jergens self-tanner for the body. Basically does the same, except just a gentler formula for the face, especially if you have sensitive skin. Very natural, non-orange color. Took about 3 days for me, with exfoliation before applying. The smell is strong, as with all self-tanners, but I either put it on at night or diluted it a bit with my regular daytime moisturizer (and it still worked that way!) I vant to drink your blood, wait, never mind
I stay out of the sun to prevent damage, but it leaves me a complexion that only a vampire could love. I look washed out and sickly, so I decided to give this a try and am so glad I did. I'm 30 and have super oily, acne prone skin, so I was a little nervous. I don't want to necessarily look tan, just not so "nocturnal". I wash my face as normal, and apply a 1/2 pea size 2-3 times a week before I go to bed. It smells wonderful, like melon maybe?, and soaks in quickly. No streaks, no stains on the pillow case, and I maintain a complexion that makes it look like I go jogging a couple times a week. It doesn't make me produce anymore oil or cause breakouts, so this will be a permanent addition to my routine. Just be mindful of dry spots on your face, because it will sink in more there and make them darker.
