I've been looking for a new blush to replace my two-year old lancome sample hand-me-down from my sister for a while. I'm not the biggest lancome fan, so the prospect of replacing my blush was quite appealing when another friend of mine get me this Hard Candy combo blush. I've used combo blushes before and didn't really think of it as anything too special. I always wondered, why not mix all the colors together into a single palette and call it a day. If you brush happens to go over one particular color more than another, well, then you end up with orange cheeks instead of peachy-burns-raspberry cheeks. Too confusing. But hey, I decided to still give it a shot anyway. Well, same problem. I just prefer to have one single palette than four next to each other. But one good thing about this Hard Candy blush was that it's highly pigmented and the power is applied very finely and smoothly to your face. Nothing Special..
I don't get the hype over this product. It's not that great. I wouldn't waste my money for two main reasons: 1. It's WAY too powdery, half of the product ends up being wasted when you smooth it on your brush. 2. It is an unnatural pink color that doesn't blend very well. This color is super hot pink and it just looks tacky. I'm not a fan of this.
