Let me start off by saying that this product is not for you if you need to add volume of length-- it says right on the tube that it's just a tint. With that said, it still manages to make eyes stand out because of how much it darkens lashes; the darkening does make lashes look a tiny bit thicker but not by much. It's perfect for the no-makeup look as well those that need some color on their lashes. The formula is very thin, kind of like ink which translated into no clumping or flaking; it feels like you aren't wearing anything. The brush is small & grabs lashes for even tinting. I didn't actually expect it to last 4 days, but low and behold, it did (oh, make sure you don't smudge with this one, it won't come off once dry). I tried to remove it when I was ready for bed but my make-up remover failed, as did a shower and baby-oil. It actually stayed on for around 4 days without damaging my lashes. I also have to mention the value you get from this: you get a huge tube, one application lasts around 4 days, and it cost me about seven dollars. — 11 months ago

I used it and it smudged off by the morning. It did last longer than waterproof mascara though. I suppose it is for fairer people and not medium to dark-skinned because it does not stand out very much. — 12 months ago

Okay for 4 days camping or fun in the sun, but not for the everyday

I have mixed reviews on this Lash Ink product from Hard Candy. I bought some and gave it a try. I am blond and was wanting something to tint my eyelashes so they would show up better when I am not wearing mascara. This indeed did do the trick for that purpose. It has no volumizing effect at all, but does give deep dark bold color to eyelashes. I applied it in the morning on a Friday when I was off from work after my normal skin care regimen. It went on just like an ink-type of texture. It definitely did bring out my eyelashes and once it dried, it seemed set in stone. I then did my skin care regimen that evening and washed my face as normal without using eye makeup remover on my eyes and just washing my face wth my cleanser, serum then moisturized. I slept all night with it on, then got up and did my normal showering, skin care and such. Believe it or not, it stayed on through it all, water, cleansers, etc. It stayed on all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday through it all. However, something about leaving something on my eyes that long just felt strange to me, so if you were going camping for a few days, at the beach for days at a time, this would be a must have for that, but for everyday use and for volumizing and adding that glam look, I would not recommend. — 1 year, 2 months ago
