Updated: Downgraded review after continuous use
UPDATE: I am downgrading my rating for two reasons. After using daily for a couple of weeks, this started irritating my lips ( I have very sensitive, allergy prone skin) and the fragrance bugs me. After more reseach, it looks like it really does not contain very effective sunscreen as well, whcih was my original reason for purchasing it.. OLD REVIEW: This is definitely a nice product for your gym bag, beach bag, hand bag, on-the-go. I love the price, the spf 20, the color, last, and feel. I got Fresh Plum which is a lip colored mauve. It is pigmented enough to even out and enhance your natural lip color, but sheer enough to look natural and work with any skin tone and your natural lip color. It has an ever so slight sheen and a buttery texture. It feels very moisturizing and luscious. It did not creep on me. The only aspect I did not love is that it has a very light floral, lotion like fragrance when you first put it on. The oval shape (the tube is not a circular cylinder like most lipsticks, it is an ovular cylinder) is a little odd but, it works. I really like this and plan to get at least on more color. Slightly tinted..
These lip balms remind me of the burts bees lip balms. they are soothing and moisturizing with a slight tint. Making it great for everyday use. tinted lip balm
I think this is a nice quality tinted lip balm. Like the slight colors and I like the way it moisturizes my lips. Pleasant surprise
I bought this on a whim today because my lips were dry and I'd left my makeup bag at home. I chose this over the chubby crayon balm because this one has SPF (20). It is moisturizing and adds a very nice and light tint. I bought "Healthy Blush" and it's very pretty and natural. I like this.
I bought this by mistake thinking it was another one I liked. They were out of the clear so I bought it in Sunny Berry and I ended up actually liking it. Color was off....
It's not really a tinted lip balm. It's more of a lipstick. The lip color is way darker than what it appears to be. I have to put on a clear lip balm first before applying this to tone down the hue. My lips ended up looking almost a vampy blackish red instead of just a tinted brownish red. Will never purchase again. The only thing I like about this was the oval shape design of the tip. I liked this product, loved the colors! Only a couple of complaints: does not last very long, needs constant reapplication and it is quite expensive for tinted lip balm. So close!! Just a little tweak and it would be perfect
I love this for the nice, light color (not quite sheer, not quite lipstick) and great moisture. Would like a greater variety of shades (I own 3 out of the 5). This would be perfection if it wasn't just a SMIDGEN pearly. It's not enough for everyone to notice, but I hate pearly anything, so it drives me nuts.
