Good staying power

Good color that stays put fairly well. Nice selection of flattering colors. Matte , without being overly drying. Use a balm first , then blot with a tissue before putting this stain on. Extremely reasonable price.

It was okay.

I like this tint but not my fave. It last for awhile but the pigment is very nice.

Nice for the price

I like the options I have for the price of this lip stain. It seems to stay on pretty well, but it doesn't have the greatest of smells.

It's just alright

I didn't love this. It is definitely not 16 hour wear. I also found that it dried my lips out quite a bit even with lip balm over it. It comes off after every meal or snack if you lick your lips. The smell is quite strong and like chemicals too. I like the applicator because you can get into the corners. Now if only it would STAY on the corners of my lips! It's a good base for lipsticks, though.

Love! A non-drying lip stain!

This is the only lip stain I've tried that has not dried out my lips! Granted, I've only tried drugstore lip stains since the first one I tried disappointed me so much and I didn't want to waste money on more of them... I read the reviews for this one and was pretty skeptical. I had not heard very many good things about NYC cosmetics before. This totally blew my mind though. Great deal for a great price

I have this color in Persistent Pink(490). The color that gets on your lips is darker than what the packaging may make you think. I have naturally pinkish/reddish lips already, and this color made the lips slightly redder. This does not last as long as the Revlon Just Bitten or the Covergirl Outlast. This also doesn't last 16 hours. However, this does last a whole work day, and I find it is n...read moreot as hard on the lips as Covergirl Outlast was to mine. At around $5 a pop regular price at drugstores, it is cheaper than both of the aforementioned lip stains(and waay cheaper than the benefit lip stain I love!), and is definitely worth the price. I wear this and let it sit for a few minutes before putting on a lip gloss or a lip cream on top. I pretty much only do natural makeup. I have fair skin with cool tones. There are also a lot of different colors to choose from, so there is probably a good one for other skin tones as well. I would definitely recommend, and I would buy again.

I must come forth with my honesty and admit that this is most definitely not my favorite product. It gives the look, taste, feel and smell of a child's washable marker, and is not very flattering for smooching or smiles. I can barely speak without my lip ripping open and that's not due to my lack of personal hygiene. Ehh...

This product was my very first lip stain that I have ever tried. I liked it at first as I found the stain very pretty. The thing is with these lip stains is that they dry out VERY fast. I mean literally, these will not last long in your collection. I also find that the applicator isn't too appealing and I find it a hassle to get product to come through. Not a fan of these and have not considered repurchasing.
