First time buying

Surprising, But Still Only Okay
I was skeptical about trying out another Maybelline foundation: the Dream Mousse had been such a let down. However, this foundation turned out to be okay. Not much coverage
If you want a sheer coverage foundation, then this one may work for you. It wasn't enough for me however. It blended well for a drugstore foundation, but didn't cover the redness on my cheeks very well. I am actually between two shades and had the messy task of mixing them every time I used this. I do think this is the best of any d/s foundation I've ever used but yet it is still a far cry fro...read morem the high end foundations I own, namely Bare Mineral Bare Skin, Armani Luminous and Dior Star/Forever Flawless. I did get oil breakthrough a few hours after applying this but I did appreciate the satin finish (I'm not a fan of matte foundation). All in all this foundation was pretty good, but not outstanding, hence my 6 star review. Dewy + Smooth version

Matte+Poreless
(I have Combo-oily skin) I bought Matte+Poreless kind and I liked it better than I thought I would. It really does hide my blackheads well and it does keep me matte for a while. It looks natural and not heavy. The only downside is on my nose which is where I need it can look a little flaky like my nose is a tad dry but I put on some Maybelline Baby Face over it and it fixed the problem. No coverage, smudges
I really didnt like this foundation. I use the concealer which I really like but this foundation is not very long lasting and made my face oily and sticky. Works Well
I usually have a hard time finding foundation that doesn't have a pinkish hue to it, but I was able to find a good yellow based color for my skin tone (210). It goes on well but it does tend to rub off fairly easily within the first hour or two of wear. I got it on sale both times I have bought it at Target which was great. This foundation is absolutely fabulous. It is technically buildable, but looks best with a light-medium coverage. LOOKS LIKE SKIN. Blends really well into skin. Sponge, Stippling brush, Beauty Blender. It all looks amazing. Great range of shades AND undertones!!! One of the best foundations in the drugstore for yellow undertoned people. All wrong
I had high hopes for this product after seeing a rave review by a makeup artist on YouTube, but it sadly didn't live up to any of my expectations. It does not cover well, never sets (stays sticky all day), is WAY too shiny and shows lines in my skin I didn't know I had! It pools in oily spots and is, in no way, buildable. If you try and build it, it just gets stickier. It looks gorgeous right afte...read morer you apply it but within 30 minutes, you're an oily blotchy mess. The only good thing is the color matching capability, the shade I chose matches my skin perfectly.
