Texture
I was looking for a nice replacement for my Body Shop lipstick I love, but had run out of. By the way it was advertised I thought this was similar so I picked some up. I was disappointed. Being both a balm AND gloss, I thought it would have a smooth texture and glide nicely, but on the contrary, it was rough and grainy with little "glitter crystals" I wasn't expecting. It felt like running a waxy chapstick made with fine grit sandpaper over my lips. :/ I won't purchase again. — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Decent Lip Balm
My lips seem to chap faster than I can grab my lip balm, so this product is great for on-the-go girls who want balm, color, and SPF protection. I am using the shade "Clay" right now, and it's a great color for those who prefer nudes with hints of pink for daytime. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Gloss balm
This is shiny and smells really nice. They are super sheer and don't have a lot of longwear. They aren't sticky. They don't have a lot of product in them, so you're paying for less than you're getting. Still nice, though. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

It's a pretty good product
I gotta say I do like this product. I have 2 colors a red and an orange color. I especially like how I can wear orange balm without the sharpness of an orange lipstick. It went on very smooth in application and has a "barely there" color payoff. I like how the more you use it the deeper the color appears. I have worn it alone and over a lipstick to give myself some shine without going over the top! I like how this is a lightweight packaging and how thin the it is. I was able to score this product for probably around $5 when CVS was having a deal. I'm a sucker for lip balm/ chapstick. I'm not sure I would necessarily run out and get a brand new tube once I use this up. It's definitely worth a try though — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great Product, I am hooked!!
Well I bought this product because i need a new lip blam which had color to it as well, well i happen to get a coupon in sunday paper for $5 off of two so i decided to purchase two lip balms. I have to say i did not imagine that it would work so well. my lips felt great after two uses. i had initially bought two colors, peony and hibiscus, i liked it so much i went and bought cabernet as well, the next one i am buying will be clove. I even use it for parties and evening, it has color and moisturizes, plus it has spf 15. my lips were in bad shape but they feel better now. I use the hibiscus for day and the peony and cabernet for night. if you like color like a lipgloss and benefits of lip balm this is for you!!! — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

my absolute fave
This is my go-to balm when I want my lips moisturized, protected, and just a perfect hint of color. i use it almost every day and have many shades! It's moisturizing, doesn't dry out quickly, doesn't feel waxy, and has really great color options that can compliment any skin tone and provide the perfect hint of sheer color. I love hibiscus, the best pink gloss/balm I've ever found (perfect with porcelain skin like mine) and merlot. I would definitely give this product a shot, ladies. The color lasts decently long too, I was impressed. Only trouble is that it does come off a bit if you drink or eat or something right after you use it, but that's not a big deal to me. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Love it
I really like this stuff. I wish it lasted a bit longer, but other than that, I'm happy with it. The color is nice. The scent is decent. And it actually does have a bit of moisturizing in it so it doesn't dry my lips out. — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

My new go-to lip product! :)
While I refuse to use lip stains and lipstick doesn't last long for me unless I blot after applying, I found this in-between [lipstick and lip balm] little product from Covergirl that I received for free from Teen Vogue as a sample a few months ago (in the summer)! I received it in hibiscus and absolutely loved it! I have since then bought three new tubes, one in hibiscus (being my favorite), one in tulip and one in anemone and I must admit that I love them all equally! They are infused with mango so they moisturize my always-seemingly-dry lips and make them look smooth and kissable even if they are chapped! What I really loved about this product is that I can be running late one day, rushing out the door and apply this lip "gloss balm" on my way to school and work and it doesn't give me "kool-aid mouth" nor does it smudge onto my teeth or gloss over my cupid's bow while I talk or drink from a water bottle like most lipsticks tend to do when I wear them. Overall, all I can say is that I really love this product and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants the quick and easy freedom of a "childhood" lip gloss without the childish flair (aka big globs, chunky glitter, bad taste, etc.), the ability to apply a lip color on-the-go and to those who love to try new products! Yes, they're a little pricey but Covergirl usually offers coupons in Sunday papers where I live, so as long as I clip coupons before running errands on Sundays I can usually pick up my favorite shades while I'm out and about! On a final note I must also say that I love how pulled-together it can make me look even if I'm only wearing it with my bare-minimum make up look (i.e. foundation & cover-up on blemishes, upper eyelid eyeliner & mascara) - just taking that extra five seconds to apply this gloss-balm makes me look as though I searched all day for that perfect shade of lipstick to pull my look together! It's especially great while I'm out and about grocery shopping or running from class to class and want to look presentable but not too overdone! Highly recommended! :) — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Good tinted lip balm if you pick the right colour
The colour selection is nice, and I am pleased with the shade I chose, hibiscus. It is a nice light flush of berry-pink, and it leaves a subtle shine. I noticed that it was a bit waxy at first, but got creamier as it was used more. Not very long lasting, but it is definately worth a try if you see it on sale. A bit expensive for what you get though. overall, good product. — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

It's ok, but I was expecting more..
I'm been meaning to buy this lip balm for quite some time now. In pictures it looked like it gave out a nice hint of color while making lips look slightly glossy. I bought it on sale for $3.50 at Walgreens. I bought in Marble color because it looked dark, but not too dark. It was either this pretty pink/fruity color or a very pale rose petal color. And I wanted a "hint" of color and a bit of longer wear than just plain chapstick. Well, I don't see a single "hint" of color on my lips. They do feel moisturized and have that very subtle glow to them which is nice. But it lasts about as long as regular chapstick (an hour or so) and as I've mention, no color what's so ever. Kinda disappointed in that sense. It's ok, just not good enough for me. Definitely won't buy again. — 1 year, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
