Clarisonic Mia Sonic Skin Cleansing System Reviews
Travels welli own the original Pink Clairsonic and needed something that would travel well. I found it in the Mia. I love love love love this product. When used with Philosophy's Purity, it really does take off all the makeup. It's a mini 2 min facial every time I use it. The only thing I don't like about it is that the brush heads can get a little smelly if they don't air dry all the way. — 4 years, 3 months agosweettpea29 | 276 reviews
Totally Worth the MoneyI purchased my Mia back in 2009 as a birthday gift to myself and I haven't regretted it all even 6 years later. I still have the same one. Using this brush for 1 minute after removing my makeup has practically eliminated the need for me to purchase toner for my acne prone skin. When you first buy it, I would recommend only using it once a day until you are comfortable using it, When I first bought...read more it, I was using it twice a day every day and this became a little expensive. It is recommended that if you use it twice a day you should replace the brush every 3 months and since the brushes can cost upwards of $40 for 2, I opted to only using it once a day. But as of late, you can buy the replacement brush heads on Groupon for a fraction of the price. Anyway, I used to have major acne issues with some pits on my cheeks and using the brush with a combination of some really good cleansers and soaps has helped repair some of the damage, My skin looks better now in my 30's than it did in my mid-twenties. I still have acne and scarring but that's an entire other issue that has nothing to do with the brush. A few more pros: it is very easy to clean- you can just pop off the brush and use soap and water to clean it. You also don't have to charge it every day. After about 20 uses the brush will pulsate 1- 5 times before it dies. You will have to charge it for about 18 hours, so I just put it on the charger in the morning and by the time I'm ready for bed, its all charged up for another 20 or so uses. I also recommend you make sure you get the correct brush for your skin type. I thought that because I had acne prone skin that I needed something harsh which is not the case. I started to use the delicate one and now that they have an option specifically for acne, that is the one that I use. It also travels well because it's not too big. The only Con that I have is that I wish it would have come with a small travel bag. I'm pretty sure that now that there are so many different versions I can just buy one online. But, I said all that to say that I'm happy that I bought it, I feel like it was completely worth it. — 3 weeks, 6 days agomsbrown822 | 219 reviews
HOLY GRAIL!I'm pretty late to jump on the Clarisonic bandwagon...what was I waiting so long for?!! I've been using the Mia 2 for a month now and my skin looks absolutely glowing and flawless. My main problem were my huge clogged pores, oily skin, and the occasional pimple or two. Within a week of using, my pores shrunk by at least 50% and my once dull skin became glowing and radiant. I'm not even sure how to...read more explain it, my skin just looks plump and like it is glowing from within. It did more than any serum or lotion could ever do for my skin. I am absolutely amazed. My skin is soft and feels balanced now. It didn't break me out at all as it did for others. I'm completely smitten with this product and feel it is completely worth the money. I realize the price does hold a lot of people back but it is so worth the investment. What you get is a high quality tool that delivers exactly what it claims. Your skin will thank you for it! — 3 years, 4 months agoModernDayWriter | 205 reviews
awesomeMy facial tone and complexion has greatly improved since I began using the clarisonic twice a day. It's water tight so you can take it in the shower with you. — 2 years, 2 months agorouxblonde | 92 reviews
Every women should own!I just bought mine 2 months ago and it has change my life. If I don't use it for a weekend my skin feels horribly and I feel so relieve using it again. My face feels clean, fresh, as it could breath for itself. My skincare routine finally seams to work, my pores are much smaller, and my skin is a lot smoother. Now I'm starting to think of buying the Clarisonic Opal. — 3 years, 5 months agoreneegro | 210 reviews
Not the fix-all, but pretty close!I'll be honest, i was hoping this product would eradicate all acne from my teenage looking skin. The clarisonic didn't quite pull it off, but it did help. I've noticed less acne and a clearer complexion, as far as blotchiness and redness. I've never used the original Clarisonic, but as far as I can tell, the MIA works just as well. It doesn't have the facial zone timing features, but as long as you can count it shouldn't be a big deal. :) Especially considering the cost savings. — 4 years, 5 months agoAmberDB | 189 reviews
mediocreI got this product not only for myself but for my teenage son. I have very little to say about it that is positive, unfortunately. I got the Deep Pore head for myself and I feel that it is inferior to even using a washcloth. I do not feel that the cleansing is adequate in the least. There are several similar products on the market and many are a tenth of the price or less. I also thought it w...read moreas too difficult to change the heads. The little prongs are easy damaged as are the bristles. And the fact that it has to be changed as often as a toothbrush with heads costing $20 plus is a deterrent. One aspect of it that is nice is that it is quite small and portable. I also like that it has a charger and it not dependent on batteries. I have found that products that use a charger are more reliable than those which rely on batteries. For some reason a charger seems to give a product a longer lifespan. This is irrelevant of changing the batteries. Perhaps it has to do with some sort of corrosion or issue with the prongs inside the battery compartment. I also do not notice a bit of difference between the regular cleansing head and the deep pore head. They feel pretty similar and I do not see a difference in the cleansing aspect at all. On another positive note, the cleaning of the head itself is simple and they actually do not recommend doing it more than once a week. Working in healthcare I find this to be a little concerning, however. I feel that any tool that comes in contact with skin should be cleaned with each use. This radically cuts down on the opportunity for bacteria to breed on a wet product. — 2 years, 10 months agoklfnwf | 53 reviews
The #1 Product for My Skin
I had read a lot of great reviews about the Clarisonic on various blogs and was really wanting to give it a try. I was a little skeptical about whether the Clarisonic was as great as I was told or if all the beauty bloggers felt obligated to give a good review becuase they had received a free product.
I decided to do a little more research from the Clarisonic website and found out t...read morehe following facts
Clarisonic cleanses your skin 6x better than using your hands alone
The company offers a 90 day satisfaction guarantee becuase they know it will make a difference for your skin
The Clarisonic does not spin like similar drug store products do. It oscillates using sonic pulses which means it moves back and forth but not in a circle
Depending on which Clarisonic product you purchase you can receive up to a 2 year warranty incase your device breaks or no longer charges
The Clarisonic is waterproof so you can use it while you shower or bathe. (There have been so many times I've accidentally submerged my product in water so thank goodness for that!)
With all the positive reviews I read and stellar facts from the company I decided to give it a try. After all there was a satisfaction guarantee and I knew I would recieve my money back if I was not happy with the product.
Within the first week of using my Mia I saw an immediate turnaround with my skin and began receiving compliments daily on how beautiful and radiant my skin was. People began to ask me constantly what my secret was for flawless skin and I had to tell them it was my Clarisonic Mia!
The Mia currently retails for $125 as the universal speed and a 1 year warranty. If I were to go back in time I would opt for the Mia 2 which retails for $150, has 2 speeds, a 2 year warranty and a pulsing timer that tells you when to move onto the next portion of your face.
The Mia has made such a difference for my skin and I will never be caught dead without a Clarisonic device in my skin routine ever again. It's as simple as brushing your teeth and reaps higher rewards than any serum or moisturizer will ever give you. — 1 year, 5 months agolissacole | 9 reviews
Not for MeI've read various reviews on the Clarisonic/Clarisonic Mia that state that your skin may experience a "purge phase" at the beginning of regular use. During this phase, your skin gets ride of deep impurities in the form of blemishes. This phase is meant to last for about 2 weeks. A month and a half of use, and my skin was still "purging". My skin has never been as bad as it was when I was using the Clarisonic. For the price, I expected big things, and I'm sad this didn't work out for me. — 1 year, 6 months agokdevoe814 | 12 reviews
Cleans my face really wellClarisonic Mia cleans my face really well, there is just a problem my skin is too sensitive so I can used it every day cause it fell like it burns, I am sure is not the soap I am using it (murad pomagrade foam soap) cause I used it before and never fell my skin that way, my skin becomes red and a lil sensitive but nothing extreme, it pass in a few few minutes, I recommend used MIA. — 1 year, 7 months agoCorinaFA | 73 reviews
