I fell in love with Senna Cosmetic's "Envelope"--a huge palette of assorted eye shadows, blushes, and highlighters ($50.00 online). Since then, I've come to truly appreciate the buttery-smooth quality of their shadow pigments. They blend easily, are finely milled, and stay in place for a long time. They are available is a wide range of unique, gorgeous shades.
