John Frieda Full Repair Touch-Up Flyaway Tamer Reviews

Flyaways be gone
I would rarely give a product a full ten score, but this product is amazing. It comes in a tube with a wand similar to a mascara wand. When I apply this product to baby hair or flyaways they are instantly tamed. It looks completely natural and since there is an applicator your hands don't get messy. This is one of the best beauty products to come out in the past year for me. I have tried using hairspray or other hair products to tame these little hairs and it just ends up a sticky mess. As long as this product is on the market I will be purchasing and recommending it to others. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Perfect!
I have been looking for somthing like this for a long time! This product really works. It takes away my frizz and makes my hair shine instantly. The wand deposits just right amount of product. No need to get your hand sticky with usual serums nor entire head hairsprayed, just apply where you need it! I highly recommend! — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

flyaways tamed....temporarily. =(
i'm not completely sold on this product. being in the foggy bay area, my hair is prone to frizz especially right after i wash it. i usually try to tame flyaways with a bit of flex-hold hairspray and a fine comb but without much success. so i was excited to try this new product. i thought that the mascara-like wand would make application much more strategic and accurate but like the usual mascara wand, it takes a bit of effort to avoid applying too much product. the gel-like formula combed through hair easily enough; if your hair seems a bit stiff at first, comb through a few more times. it worked at flattening the unflattering frizzy curls that pop up on top of my head...until i checked the bathroom mirror mid-day and unfortunately the frizzies were back. perhaps this product requires multiple applications throughout the day - if so, at least it's the right size for stashing in your purse! — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Worked pretty amazingly
I used this on myself, my 4-year old, and my 14-year old, and was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. It didn't seem heavy, and it really smoothed our baby hairs on our styles. I liked the way it smelled, and I thought it was very convenient to throw in a bag and do touch ups if necessary. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Different type of product
This product is definitely unique. It comes what looks like a giant tube of mascara, complete with a big mascara wand to brush into your hair. It's meant to tame those little flyaway baby hairs along the hairline or on the top of your head that stick up. I tried this on the little baby hairs at my hairline that were sticking in all different directions when I had my hair pulled back. It worked in keeping the hairs down but made my hair look greasy and heavy. Didn't feel it worked any better than misting hairspray on an unused toothbrush and smoothing down baby hairs (which I have done in the past). I would avoid using it on my hair when I have it down and blown out, just because of how greasy and heavy it felt. I brushed a little on the ends of my hair on another occasion just for kicks, just to see how it would work on frizzies/split ends. It worked only moderately well and was again a bit too heavy for my hair. I've used John Frieda Frizz Ease in the past and that has worked way better for the same purpose. I wouldn't purchase this product unless baby flyaway hairs are a major issue for you. It would be great to keep in your purse and use it to touch-up your hair during the day. The scent is a plus too, it smells clean and girly. But for me, this item just isn't useful enough for me to justify buying on a regular basis. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Great!
I wear my hair up often, so I tend to have a lot of those broken pieces of hair that make my hair look a little messy. The Full Repair Touch-Up Flyaway Tamer really helped my hair look more polished and neat. It gives my hair a nice shine without making it look greasy like it can look if I try and apply hair serum with my hands. Love the applicator it is like a mascara wand only slightly larger, so super easy to toss in your bag or car for on the go touch ups. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

WORKS LIKE A CHARM!!
This is really a great product that John Frieda came out with! The applicator is genius and really gets rid of any flyaways or frizzies that you might have. I just recently purchased the entire Full Repair line (shampoo, conditioner, Perfect Ends Sheer Mist, Deep Infusion, Protecting Root Lift Foam and this) and couldn't be happier with them all!!! It's very rare for me to like an entire line of products but these all work soo well for my hair. My hair is super thick and naturally curly and I color and straighten it often so it is severely damaged and dry. After one fully week of use of all the products, my hair is completely transformed!! I keep this product (touch up flyaway tamer) in my pocketbook because it's compact and my go-to for flyaways and frizzies on the go. I got this product on sale at CVS for $7.49 and it's regular price is $8.99 but for the results you really will be happy to pay this!! — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Tames Frizzies
I dont have too many hairs that stick up, now that I have changed by style from long and straight to short and layered, but once in a while the ends look a little dry, and this easy to go package helped to make over worked hair look healthier. I saw some ppl on the street with straight parted in the middle hair with those little hairs sticking up that I would have loved to have let them try this product, I think with a light hand, this product could be a real winner. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Loved the Mascara Wand, Just right abmoun of tame...
Gave my hair the right amount of tame and sleekness at the end of the day and on days when I skippe d washing my hair. Mascara wand is a great concept. I usually put live in conditioner in my hair, then comb it in. This is like having 2-in-1 tool.Better than spray and does not get your hands loaded with grease. Why didn't someone think of this before? One little caveat would be that the wand could be larger. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
