Look great, but just so-so quality

I tried out the complimentary palette, which has six pearlescent shades: champagne, bronze, brown, blue, green, and pink. The three neutrals go well together, but the three bright colors are a little harder to work with in terms of creating a look. Using the included sponge tip applicator worked a little better, and helped apply more color, but it got to be a little too time consuming for me. All of the colors are of medium pigmentation, but it's buildable. The quality is just okay. They are decently smooth, and have okay length of wear, but really do need an eyeshadow primer. The price is low, but the value you're getting is just okay, because there doesn't seem to be much product.

I don't know how I feel about this......

The packaging is extremely cute like what all the other reviewers say but it also makes it extremely hard to apply if you want to use brushes. It's too thin to apply with a brush (unless you're using a thin one.) The product was a so-so quality. It had pigmentation but kind of chalky when applied.

Runway

These shadows are very pretty. I've only ever used it with shadow primer (because I always use primer with shadow) so I will say that with primer, the colors can show up well and the product has decent lasting power. I don't really experience creasing and only slight fading after a full morning till night day of wear. They aren't the easiest to blend (not horrible though). They aren't as pigmented...read more as I would like them to be so I tend to use a lot of product-- I picked out two colorful, bright palettes expecting to create colorful, bright looks but without a generous amount of product I get more a muted wash of color. The look is still pretty but not what I was looking for. What really bothers me though is the packaging. It's pretty and sleek to lay out the shadows in long, thin, domed stripes, but it's very impractical when you are trying to pick up shadow on a brush and that is where this product looses most of it's stars for me. I don't mind that the colors weren't what I expected, but a shadow palette that's not easy to use? Meh. In any case, I'll talk a little bit about the two palettes I do have: Glamourous Gems and Haute Couture. Glamorous Gems is a gold and green palette and is the better of the two in terms of being an actual palette. The colors complement each other and you can actually create some looks with this palette on it's own. Haute Couture is a brights palette-- two purples, a pink, a green, a yellow gold, and a silvery tinged white. The colors are pretty but they don't play well with each other. The colors tend to muddy each other up when blended so you can't really create much of a look with the palette alone; I definitely need to bring in shadows from other palettes if I want more than a nice colorful liner look. If you want some nice washes of color (or don't mind using a lot of product) and aren't looking for an all-in-one palette, these are an inexpensive way to play with trendy colors.

Gorgeous....in the package

How gorgeous are these when you're looking at them! Just beautiful! Makes you want to buy them all! Luckily I only bought 1 and yep, I took it right back after I used it once! I felt like I had chalk on my eyes and during the day, I noticed the colors started change - getting much darker then it was when I first applied it. A Mess

The great colors trick you into buying these combinations of eye shadows. Glamorous Gems was close to the colors in Lancome's Jade Fever, which I also own. But I agree with other reviewers that it was hard to get one color on a brush and thus hard to use the shadows from these palettes. They made my eyes itch. Then, to add insult to injury, I dropped the palette and every shadow shattered, ma...read moreking a huge mess. I have tried to repackage them in various empty sample containers but I may just throw them away. A waste of money. I've dropped Jade Fever and the shadows hold together. That's the difference between inexpensive eye shadows and expensive ones.

purple set

The purple one is very pigmented and bright. I don't like the way its packaged its hard to apply using your finger.

Very nice colors

I have the Haute Couture palette. (Plum, grape, magenta, grass green, gold and white.) Long lasting, but you have to use a lot to get any effect. Lots of fallout when applying. And the packaging/pressing kind of sucks; the individual shadows break apart with any travel so you have to store them all flat and they stand no chance in a purse or makeup bag. The clasp on the lid is flimsy too.
