This brush works well in that it has both natural and plastic bristles. It really does help with smoothing and adding some shine. I like that it has the rubber band around the handle so it doesn't get slippery when using. My only complaint is that if my hair gets near the part where the brush joins the handle, it tends to get stuck and it tugs a little. I've only had this happen a couple of times, not enough for me to stop using the brush. But I wish Goody would fix that one problem.
