Thick lashes
I liked this mascara because it gave me thick full lashes, noticeable and dramatic with many coats. I am not sure if it makes my lashes longer, (doesn't appear to be), and the packaging is very long, kind of inconvenient to fit into my makeup bag, but the wand is small and easy to use. Flaky
The black was pretty inky, not too grey, not super black, gave nice dark color to my lashes. But I had a considerable amount of black flakes under my eyes and on my cheeks. Length with fibers
This mascara give me more length than anything I've ever used. The secret is that it has fibers. I love the results, but there were some things that annoyed me. It is incredibly watery. Be careful if you decide to mascara your bottom lashes. Second the fibers made it very difficult to remove. Great Mascara
I tried this because of all the great reviews here for it. I have to say I agree--it is a great mascara. I did not use Rimmel products previously, except maybe a lipstick here and there, because I honestly questioned their quality since the products were so low in price. OK, this is me, swallowing my pride and saying I was wrong. I tried a number of Rimmel items since then, this mascara being the best of the lot, even better than Almay and Revlon. I did try another one of Rimmel's mascara, but did not like it. Anyway, THIS Lash Accelerator Mascara does work well. I have short, pin-straight lashes and wanted something for sensitive eyes that would accentuate my lashes. This does that: my lashes look longer, the product isn't clumpy, although I do tend to have to wipe the tip of the brush on a tissue beforehand. The brush is easy to use (trick: I bent the brush about 35 degrees, not so much as to break it, but to get to my inner lashes). The mascara lasts all day and comes off very easily with Ponds cold cream. Bottom line: I haven't used it for a long enough period of time to determine if the lashes will stay long without the mascara as the company claims it does, but meanwhile, I like it. Also: Big plus for me: they do not conduct animal testing. Its ok so far
Its only been a couple of days since I have started using this mascara. Its not too bad so far. I normally do not like skinny brushes, but this skinny brush works fine for me. Its easy to use, it helps keep my lashes curled for the most part, I like how the brush applies the perfect amount of product to my lashes and it covers them nicely, and the mascara holds up well during long days/nights. My short lashes look a bit longer when using this as well. I wish I could have found this in a black-brown though because the black seems "harsh" for me with my pale complexion and dark brown eyes. I'm unsure if I would buy this again; I want to try other brands as well so. The price is eh for this product...I mean, its not a miracle/perfect mascara for me. Very dissapointed
I was so looking forward to using this mascara but it did not deliver. I found it to be messy, took long to dry, and smeared rather fast. As soon as I finished applying to one eye and was doing the other eye, the mascara began to get all over my eyelid. I gave it a couple of minutes to dry but it was still messy. I also felt like my eyes were somewhat burning... That was the cherry on top for me. I returned it after that. Disappointed...
I was very excited to try this mascara because of all the positive reviews posted here. But I am quite disappointed. It didn't separate my lashes and they were always clumped. Also it takes too long to dry... I always end up with mascara on my eyelids or under my eyes. I didn't notice any growth improvement. Just fine.
