    Not bad

I bought one of these lipsticks a while back in Blush. Let's start with the pros: Nice pigmentation, lovely feel on the lips, and doesn't smell lipstick-y. Cons: The color is hard to determine by looking at the cap and since you can't open them up to look at the actual product, you just kind of have to guess (which the color I bought is much darker on my lips than on the top of the cap and I can...read more't wear the color I bought because of that). And the other thing that will keep me from buying another one of these is that the lipstick moves around because it's so soft and sort of leans to one side and your tube gets really messy. I'm sure if you rolled the lipstick all the way out and tried to use it, it would fall onto the ground. They really need to fix that issue!

great lipstick, just chose the wrong color.

i love this lipstick. it's one of my favorites. it works really well, looks great on. however, i have the ruby color and instead of looking red, it looks very VERY pink. but, my lips don't dry out, it stays on well and i love the feel.

This Lipstick is a Treat in More Ways than One!

I have always liked Revlon lipsticks since my Mom introduced me to Moon Drops years ago. I also love the Super Lustrous line (I have 10 different shades!) as well as the Renewest line (although the cases on these tend to chip and break, due to a cheaper plastic). The ColorBurst lipstick line is the absolute best, however, and my new favorite of all. The colors are true, it feels feather-light on ...read moreyour lips, and go on as creamy as a department store brand (without the expensive price tag :) The selection of colors has recently been increased, and it's almost hard to buy just one (wait until they are BOGO, because you'll want more than one!!). The lipstick does last, but I sometimes find myself applying more just because I like the texture and feel on my lips so much ! :) For a soft, natural looking color, especially for us fair-skinned ladies, try the Peach shade (my personal fav!) And for the price, you can purchase more than one without sticker shock. Bye-bye, expensive brands!!

Upscale Luxury Lipstick at a Drugstore Price.

I was amazed when I saw these lipsticks at the drugstore today. I had read about them on my favorite blogs, Frugirl and Nouveau Cheap and I had to try it! The packaging looks just like Dior lipsticks and is probably the most upscale packaging I've seen in a drugstore lipstick. The formula is gorgeous- silky smooth and ultra-moisturizing. I wore it through my workout tonight and it stayed on ev...read moreen though I was sipping water during my run. It didn't cake or dry out on my lips at aor settle into fine lines. Like this

THis is one of my favorite lip sticks. It stays well and it doesn't dry your lips out. There is also a good selection of colors.

Revlon ColorBurst Lipstick - Best Drugstore Lipstick!!

I have always been disenchanted with most drugstore lipsticks, but Revlon always exceeds my expectations, and this time, they've really done it. I have four of the ColorBurst lipsticks, "Coral (080)", "Soft Nude (070)", "Peach (075)", and "Sienna (055)". First, the packaging is fantastic for a drugstore lipstick. It's weighty, but not too weighty. The design looks expensive. The washers at the top...read more are the exact color of the lipstick, so even though you can't see the lipstick in the tube like you can with other Revlon lipsticks, you can still get a feel for what it looks like. (Just be careful to notice the finish because the frosts can be hard to see in the washers.) It's not going to get easily lost in your purse, but quite frankly, the quality of these makes me want to keep them at home with the rest of my high quality lipsticks anyway. The wear of these lipsticks has been compared to MAC, and though I disagree, they are very high quality in my opinion. These are softer than MAC lipsticks. I prefer these to any other drugstore lipstick and a few department store brands as well, (such as Lancôme). The textures are smooth but not overly creamy and these will NOT dry your lips. They are very pigmented, but in a flattering way and they will not stain but they are long lasting, though for the brighter colors, I do suggest a liner in warmer climates. The lipstick itself is on the softer side. I did drop "Peach" in the store and it leans when I put it on now, but I did drop it pretty hard and from quite a height and it is still usable and is my favorite one I've gotten so far, so I'm happy. When I hold these right up to my nose, there's a hint of a scent, but I can't identify it because it's way too subtle, so no worries there. "Coral" was the first one I bought because I had been buying a ton of red lipsticks at the time, so I wanted to change it up just a bit. It's very bright and vibrant and is the perfect mix of red and orange. It's definitely an intense coral. I hate to say this because it doesn't make it sound appealing, but it's kind of a tomato soup color, but in a good way for sure. "Soft Nude" is a pale beige shade. The thing about nudes is that they all tend to have some sort of undertone of either pink, gray, or brown, but "Soft Nude" is probably the perfect nude and it's on the verge of becoming my favorite. While it is not drying, however, it can look like it is if your lips are a bit dry, so make sure your lips are moisturized before applying this one. "Peach" is the next one I picked up and it is my favorite ColorBurst lipstick. It's more of a rosy peach shade and though the washer has some shimmer and I've heard people say it has shimmer to it, on me it doesn't show up shimmery really. This is the subtlest color I've gotten from the line and looks very natural while still bringing life to my dull lips, which I like. This is probably the most everyday color I own and I will definitely get a backup. The last one I have so far is "Sienna", which is a dark brown brick color. I'll be honest in saying the only reason I got this color was because I got it in the Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick, which I didn't like but loved the color. So I figured since I love this formula, I'd get it in the ColorBurst. This one is definitely dramatic, but can be used for an everyday color in Fall. It's a good alternative to black lipstick if you like the idea of a darker color but aren't gutsy enough to wear black on your lips. This is darker in the ColorBurst than it was with the ColorStay, but I still like it and you can sheer it out if you want to. Overall, there's really nothing about this lipstick I don't like. I would not hesitate to purchase more or buy backups. The only downside is that they tend to be expensive for a drugstore brand, being between $7-9. However, they are worth every penny and often go on sale and Revlon’s come out with buy one get one free doubled packs of them, so if you happen to find a color you like enough to get backups or want to share with a friend, I definitely recommend these.
