Great drugstore find!
I was skeptical of purchasing it due to my oily skin and since I live in Texas, it's hot and humid. But I rather like it very much! The tint is great to provide sheer coverage. I like that it has minimal light-reflecting pigments, as opposed to looking glittery like some mineral makeup tends to do. It has the slightest smell but it's very subtle and nice! I would use this if I'm on the go or pressed for time. My skin has been looking better since using this product, and I love that it has a decent level of SPF. The price is good too. I've searched high and low for a tinted moisturizer. I have oily skin with cystic acne and acne scars. I know that tinted moisturizer offers little to no coverage, however I need at least some coverage for when I'm running errands and working out. I really like this product because it made my skin glow and it did cover up some of my imperfections. I think the mineral radiance diffused some of my blemishes and my skin looked a lot better. It's oil-free and non-comedogenic, which is very important for me. It says that it reduces blotchiness and brown spots after 4 weeks but I've only been using it for a few days so I don't know how well it works for that, but so far so good. I didn't give it a 10 because the texture is thick so you really have to rub it in. I got it at Walmart for $15, which to me is still kind of expensive for a drug store product. too shimmery & too oily for me
This had good coverage but made my face look too shimmery, in an odd way. I could also feel a slightly slick, oily feeling on my face all day long, the opposite of what I expected -- I'd tried a tinted moisturizer specifically because I DIDN'T want to feel it. Admittedly I have sensitive skin, so it might work for someone else. I've tried quite a few tinted moisturizers, this isn't the worst but definetly isn't the best either. It has a very strong smell, that is probably the SPF(which is a plus). It has medium coverage, but when I had a pimple it made it look a lot worse, I don't quite know how to explain that.. It didn't make my face look radiant whatsoever. And I couldn't put it on my skin without a setting powder, because it didn't have great staying power. Too thick and cakey!
I got this product because of its spf, but when I put it on it is very thick and doesn't blend well. also the first time I pump it every day it has little clumps in it that I have to remove. Soy IS good!
This is the best tinted moisturizer I've ever used. It gives the right amount of coverage, plus the soy in this product is a natural skin brightener/illuminator and gives a glow to my face. It does have SPF 30, which is helpful. But I recommend wearing SPF in addition to any makeup products if you're in direct sunlight during the day. Reliable, easy to use
I am 65 and have been using this as my regular low profile "face" for a couple of years now. It goes on easily (I've put it on with just my fingers when in a rush) and it quickly gives my face the even color tone of a more layered approach. not worth it
It cakes, it clumps. It's thick yet provides very little coverage. I hate to waste product, so here is how I make it work. I pump two or three times and discard the first couple of pumps, which are clumpy. I mix the remaining product with another tinted moisturizer which is slightly darker to get the right shade. Really Great
I really had a hard time debating whether or not to try another tinted moisturizer, all of the high end & drug store brans just disappointed me, but once i saw Aveeno a brand i trust i had to try it. I'm so glad i did. It moisturizes, has SPF 30 and UVA/UVB sunscreen which many lotions do not include. I really love the light coverage, i where it on days i want the light coverage & do still use concealer on little spots, or use it as a primer before my foundation. LOVE it!
I'm not so savvy when it comes to knowing if something blocks pores (I never had problems with acne), but for older (I'm 43) skin with substantial sun damage and wrinkles (smoked for over 20 years ~ and my skin's showing it), it's AWESOME! I've been doing peels and it's oh so calming and comforting on my poor skin! I highly recommend this product! No more "real" foundations for me!
