Not the best of DKNY
I love DKNY fragrances, but this one is the exception. My friend has this one and I borrowed it for a Valentine's day date. The smell is not unpleasant, kind of clean, vanilla scent. Nothing sexy, something subtle, and not overwhelming, so that was good. Not my favorite DKNY perfume
As I got this bottle as my early birthday gift a few days ago, and this Pure scent spray in 1.7 oz became my latest addition to my perfume collection. When I spray it in the air it smells quite soapy, and the scent reminds me of laundry dryer sheets. When I use it on my skin, it smells a bit more floral and I can detect a hint of vanilla. It is a clean and soft scent that wearable to some different occasions, but at the same time quite one-dimensional. Well, it is called Pure, so I guess this perfume is not supposed to have many different notes. I do like that the packaging is recyclable, and it is nice to know the DKNY's project of helping some women in Uganda through this perfume, but the fragrance itself is not too exciting for me. Subtle

Nice at first

My favorite DKNY fragrance

Disapointing
I was ecstatic when I smelled this sample in an ULTA magazine: It was clean and warm and everything I'd been looking for in a perfume. The actual thing? Not so much. The top notes are very nice, clean and warm with small bits of vanilla. Unfortunately, those notes fade and the lingering scent is very "perfume"y and gives me a headache.
