Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Inspired by Carmindy Luminizing Face Primer Reviews

so SMOOTH!
i absolutely love this. it makes my skin ULTRA smooth and it goes on smooth too. its such a light dreamy cream you have to try it. the reason its called "luminizing" is because it has glitter in the primer. on your hands it looks really glittery, but when you put it on your face its not bad at all. and it looks less glittery the more makeup you layer over it. it makes you glow when you put it under foundation and blush. it makes your skin's texture very even and smooth so the foundation goes on easy my favorite part about this product is how incredibly smooth my skin was. i could not stop touching my face. even my forehead! my oily nose was even under shine control. it takes away the oily shine over oily parts and it moisturizes over dry patches. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 14 of 20 people said helpful

Excellent Product - Beats More Expensive Brands!
I cannot believe this only $10 at regular price! It beat the more expensive one I was using just prior to buying this primer. My skin is super oily and I didn't not have the issues others have had in prior reviews. I agree with the reviewer who thinks that may have used too much. Additionally, I like the luminosity. I am 42 and I need all the glow I can get! If you use this on your lids and then apply the eye shadow base also made by the line, your shadow wil not move all day! I would recommend this product to others and will definitely buy it again. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful

Very smooth skin.. a little oily
I'm still debating on this product. It does leave my dry skin very soft and I like the little shimmer it gives. The problem is it's a little TOO oily even for me. Definitely NOT recommended for oily skin but for dry skin it's nice. — 11 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Sally Hansen Primer
Really like this primer; it leaves my skin feeling super soft and supple, and the foundation just glides on over the top. My makeup stays on for longer, which is really important as I have pretty long days and I don't always have time to reapply my makeup. It is also really good value as you don't require much, and it is quite cheap in comparison to other primers that are a lot more expensive, and this one works just as well as, if not better! I really like the way it makes my skin feel really fresh and renewed, and it just makes me feel revitalised. I would definitely recommend this to anyone (and I already have to a few of my friends!) and I will be using it again! — 2 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

tad too sparkly
As far as making my foundation last, helping to hide imperfections, and feeling barely there, this primer is a winner. On the flip side, there is waaay too much sparkle in this little baby. Even when I tried using the primer sparingly, when I saw my reflection in the mirror I could very easily see the "smoke and mirrors" behind making my face glow. So, unfortunately, it looked more glittery than shimmery. I also didn't really notice the amount of shine on my face go down with use of this product. I think Carmindy is a wonderful and wise makeup artist, but it's like the undercover agent primer is fighting for the spotlight with my foundation and not in a good way. — 11 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Ok product but bad packaging
The product was okay but by no means great. Maybelline's primer does a better job on my combination skin. My biggest problem was that it was so thick it did not want to pump out of the container. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

too oily
i have oily skin and saw this on the best primers list. and by no means is it meant for people with oily/acne prone skin. it did absolutely nothing to help with makeup, and just added another layer of gunk onto my pores. i was able to return it at cvs, but don't waste your money on it. — 1 year, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

A Little Greasy
I didn't dislike it, but it didn't really do anything for me. It was a bit greasy. It did make my foundation go on more easily, but it also made it feel like the foundation would slip off my face. My face felt goopy all day. I think maybe it did make my complexion glow or whatever, but to me it just wasn't good enough to keep using. Also, the pump on the bottle stopped working within a VERY short amount of time so I had to dig the primer out. Just not worth it for me. — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Need to know more
I have never used primers but know I need something so by going through your list hopefully I will come across something that I will enjoy using and agree with my skin — 1 year, 12 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 3 people said helpful

No J. Lo Glow
Hmmm...not really sure what this product is supposed to do. As in, it doesnt really do much. I dab a little on top of my cheek bones, nose and eyebrows and I guess it does something....but not as illuminating as I imagined. The shimmer is really fine so it looks quite natural which I like...but all in all I could do without it. Cool little gadget...the pump doesnt always work so that can be annoying. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful
