One of the best!
Nyx products are surprisingly high quality at a low price. They are half the price of the so-called prestige cosmetics. I decided to try this lipstick in red. It really moisturizes and lasts! The red is gorgeous, and looks like something Gwen Stefani would wear. I highly recommend trying NYX cosmetics. "Black Label Lipstick" is Well-Named!
This is an upscale formula, to be sure. Lips are nourished with rich emollients to keep you moisturized all day. The choice of colors is mind-blowing: There are demure shades, like "Bling" (a mauve/pink cream) and "Heiress" (mid-toned mauve) to "Shell" (iridescent light blue/pink pearl) and "Extreme Red" (a bright blue red which lightens the look of teeth). It does glide on with a silky feel and stays put, especially over a lip primer. This is comparable to a lipstick from MAC, for just $7.50 a tube. Creamy, rich in pigments
This lipstick has no odor, has a creamy texture, and is highly pigmented. It is one of the best drugstore lipsticks. Its matte shades are not drying, kept my lips moist without wearing off for many hours. Might be for some people, not for me....
The color is REALLY intense. I didn't think it was going to be that intense to the point where wearing it out to the public would totally make me stand out. I bought this in the color mauve. It looks really unnatural that I think only models would wear this for photo shoots or something. I guess some people might like this but it's not for me. I always try to aim for a more subtle look. The color is featured to be lighter on their website but really it's way darker than what it appears to be. I love how it glides on smooth and leaves a soft velvety texture. Your lips do get moisturized too. They are true to their words when they describe this lipstick to be highly pigmented but like I said could be for some people who like that dark look. Black Label Lipstick
I usually don't wear lipstick. For some reason, I decided to buy NYX Black Label Chloe. It's wonderful. It's smooth, moisturizing, and doesn't bleed. A little bit goes a long way. After drinking and eating, the color was still on my lips. I think I only paid $5 or $6 for it. Very pigmented, creamy and smooth. I could compare these to many higher end brands. For the price, you just can't beat this product. NYX is the most underrated brand I've ever come across. Great buy. Best Lipstick, Yet Inexpensive
I own almost all of these lipsticks. I am a makeup artist and the pigmentation on these lipsticks is outstanding. I have used them on many of my clients and they are stunned to see the outcome. The intensity of the color is wonderful, no more than maybe 2 applications. I give my clients a sample sample if they need to reapply it. Love these lippies!
The NYX Black Label Lipsticks are great, moisturizing with good pigmentation and no offensive smell or taste. There is a faint fruity scent, but it's very light and disappears quickly after application. The plastic packaging is reasonably solid and good looking. I purchased 2 colors: Dusty Rose, a sort of matte medium pink, and Dream of Africa, a shimmery copper. Dusty Rose is more versatile, but I like both colors. The lasting power is about average for a lipstick. The Black Label product is substantially more pricey than the NYX Round Lipstick, but I like the extra moisturizing properties and the fancier packaging.
