Pores--WHAT Pores?
Few makeup primers make a great impression on me. I actually bought Benefit's "The Porefessional" for my husband--he is troubled with some large pores and wanted to cover them. This nude cream works to hide his pores without being noticeable at all. So I decided to use it under makeup. I love it! It doesn't have the heavy feeling Smashbox's primer and so many others gave me--I don't even realize it's there, except that my skin looks flawless. Benefit suggests patting a little additional product over makeup if pores are visible, being sure to blend well. Porefessional
I just bought this, and it is an incredible primer. It is better than Smashbox. It has a slight nude color. Glides on, and really does even out skin tone. Very nice
To start, I think this product is a bit pricey. That being said it does work well. It worked great for my nose and t-zone. I tend to have combination skin, but I think that for someone with oily skin, you would need something a bit more matte. Amazing!
This product is really good. I recieved a sample and it is a really good product. The full size product is actually pretty pricey, but I think it's one of those products well worth the investment. That being said, I do have huge pores, especially on the nose and cheeks area. The texture of the makeup is super, super silky and feels really good on my skin. It has a very pleasant scent that lingers but nothing too overwhelming. It is lightly tinted, but it cannot replace foundation nor does it cover acne scars or other things that foundation does. This product makes my pores almost invisible! And then works perfectly even under foundation and other makeup. It is an amazing product that does what it claims, and again, the price is well worth it. It is the best primer I have ever tried and does not make me break out or gives me a shiny face. Smooths skin
This isn't my favorite primer, but I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this was to use. I had tried the Smashbox primer and it really didn't work for me and since the consistency of this seemed similar, I was skeptical. Benefit's POREfessional has a lot less slip to it than the Smashbox though, making it easier to apply effectively. This doesn't do anything to brighten or even your complexion, but it smooths over your fine lines and fills in your pores, creating a nice, smooth base for your foundation. This is really where this primer stands out. wonderful primer
This primer works great on my combination skin so that my makeup glides on wonderfully when I put on my makeup. It also seems to keep oil at bay during the day. Better than I expected
I love a good primer and DO NOT love the way my pores look most of the time. When this first came out I wanted to try it but I talked myself out of buying it after reading some of the reviews on Sephora. However. I recently picked up a sample that I've been using and I'm actually impressed with it. It comes out of the tube looking like it's tinted which made me nervous. I'm so fair skinned tinted products often don't work well on me. But this goes on translucent and very, very smooth. I only use it on the trouble spots--forehead, nose, chin--and put it on after a moisturizer with SPF. This makes my skin look smooth and amazing. The only thing I don't love is that it doesn't control oil at all. I've used some other primers that prevented my mid-afternoon shiny forehead situation, but this one does not. Best pore coverage
This covers even the biggest pores I have. No more embarrassing skin in front of your boyfriend! It doesn't last long, but it's smooth, silky, and very light enough to keep reapplying as needed. Absolutely love!
I do not have large or obvious pores, nor do I have bad skin or blemishes, but this is an amazing product! I have very fair skin, and I m not sure if this product comes in variant shades, but what I received certainly delivered ... and perfectly! I got a sample from Sephora, and it was one of the best ones I have received to date! Provides a very smooth finish and a great base for anything you will apply hereafter. Nice texture. Glides on smooth and feels very natural. Very generous and thick, but not too thick. Nice feel to it. Blends easily and quickly. I do not use foundation, as I have good skin, but this product definitely provides an adequate base for makeup application.
