Unsure about this.
LipglossandSpandex (487 reviews)I love LUSH. They have great products that are unique and fun, and the company is great as well. The co-creators are quirky and cool, the products are minimally packaged to reduce waste, they are against animal testing (they use human volunteers instead), they use ethically sourced ingredients, they use only vegetarian ingredients, they genuinely are a “green” company (in terms of their energy use, recycling/composting/re-using, using wind and low-impact hydro-electric power), and they get involved in ethical campaigns. It's a company that I LIKE to buy things from and am always excited to find new things to buy there. I bought one of the little two dollar tins of UltraBalm at LUSH, because my hands have been very dry lately, as well as my lips, and this product can supposedly be put anywhere on your body. The little tin seemed cute and portable. I chose this over the lip balms because it was cheaper, multipurpose, and the LUSH lady at the cashier recommended it. Additionally, if I brought back the empty tin, I could get two dollars off the full sized version. So it definitely seemed like a good idea. I tested out a little bit at the store, on my hands, and it seemed very moisturizing. I later tried some on my lips, and found the texture to be too slick. It didn't last long on my lips, and didn't moisturize very well. I used some on my hands and it felt great! Unlike on my lips, it seemed to keep my hands moisturized a bit longer. It is a bit greasy, but not too bad. Compared to typical hand/body “salves” that are very thick/almost solid, the LUSH UltraBalm is like the texture of room temperature margarine. (It even kind of looks like margarine in color!) It doesn't really have much of a smell. I'm on the fence about whether I'd repurchase this instead of my usual hand cream though. The full sized container isn't very portable. — 10 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

ladyboarder9669 (186 reviews)Not my favorite, You have to work hard to get a lot out of the jar. Leaves my skin feeling greasy and I'm not too fond of the scent. — 1 year, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

10 Best Lipsticks -
My favorite balm ever.
ShayZ (2 reviews)The people who previously wrote reviews for this product don't know how to use it correctly. It's not that hard. I have to admit, at first it's hard to use, but after a while I came up with my own way to use it and how I use it. Lush is an amazing eco-friendly vegan/vegetarian brand, one reason I liked this product. I saw it was $2, so I was like what the heck? Why not. I went for it and bought it. I didn't use or for the first month, but I got it in the summer and barely made a dent in it now in December. In the summer I used it to stop insect bite irritations mostly, and it worked wonders. Now in the winter, when my skin usually cracks and my lips peel, it has worked amazing once again. I use it every morning after applying regular lotion on my elbows and really dry areas (feet, hands) and it's worked amazingly. Every night and morning, I exfoliate my lips with a tooth brush. First I apply regular $1 lip balm, then wet my tooth brush and brush my lip removing dead skin for about a minute. I then apply the cheap lip balm again, following this product. I put this on at 10pm and by 5am when I wake up, my lips are still moisturized. This is by far the best balm I've ever used, and I've tested out about 30 different types. It works everywhere on my body and works amazingly. How to use: don't take chunks, just rub your finger on it melting it, then take the excess moisture from it. You'll get a whole lot more out of it. One thing is that the container takes a little time to break in while opening it and the scent isn't the best, but it's not like it's a perfume. — 5 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
