Not Going Any Further

I put it on and took it right off. It was so slippery I just couldn't see how my foundation would possibly sit well on it. So I'm not going any further with it, enough for me!

too greasy for me

To be honest, not sure just how fair of a review this will be. I came across a tester of this at the store i work at. I tested this on the back of my hand. I found it to be too greasy to be a primer, which is not good since i have combination skin. It would probably be better as face serum,

I like it!

I got this to try because of the "greasy" reviews - my skin is dry and is like a sponge, making it difficult to apply foundation. This helped me in applying the tone rehab because it makes the skin a little slippery and very hydrated for a few minutes. It wears good all day. I think it is deceiving in that it has Regenerist serum in it, so it calls to anyone who is interested in anti-aging product...read mores, when it is for us older women (I am 42) who need a little help or anyone who has dry skin. I can see how oily skin trypes would not like this... But with all of the Covergirl & Olay products you either love them or hate them!

CoverGirl & Olay Simply Ageless Primer

I am in my 40's and have oily skin that is acne prone. This Primer made my skin very oily. It broke me out initially, but after a few weeks, it did not break me out. However, it is too greasy!. I did not dare put it on my forehead because it made it too oily. I definitely do not recommend it if you have oily skin. It is also too expensive for a primer. I did not notice any smoothness in my ski...read moren or any primer effects. It is the worst "primer" I have ever used and recommend you do not waste your money on this product.

SO Greasy!

I bought this because I tend to have good luck with Covergirl and Olay products. I am early 20's, but anti-aging products tend to work really well on my skin. Plus, I usually like the "facelift" benefits. I saw no advertised "facelift." What I did see was greasy nose, pores, cheeks, chin, etc. I almost stopped using this product after the first 10 minutes. It was so greasy feeling on my fing...read moreertips that I barely wanted to put it on my face. I gave it a try though, and it went on greasy as well. Oddly enough, it felt alright once I put my makeup on. I use an oil-control translucent powder to set my makeup and I think that may have been the only reason that I wasn't greasy right from the beginning. At work, I could feel my face gradually grow greasier and greasier. Even before lunch, I was blotting my nose with bathroom tissue because I don't carry any makeup with me to work. By the time I left work, my face felt worse than it does when I've been sweating. I went home and complained to the fiance about the primer and he touched my face and went, "Wow. You feel really greasy." (He's always super honest, but he's never said that before!) I am SO disappointed with this product. I'm thinking I'm just going to buy an expensive primer next time. I wish I had saved the money from this one and put it towards a better primer. A makeup artist put a more expensive primer on my face for my friend's wedding and my makeup stayed put ALL DAY, even when I was sweating like crazy in a tiny chapel during the ceremony. I know there are good primers out there, and this product apparently just isn't one of them.

Great idea, great product

I absolutely love this product! I had been looking for a good primer and had purchased a few different brands, none of which I was satisfied with. I got to try this product for free and I really liked the idea of combining the primer and serum together. I use this product every morning after moisturizing. I wait for my moisturizer to absorb, then apply this serum/primer on my face and wait for it...read more to absorb before I apply my makeup. The texture is rich and creamy. It glides on smoothly and absorbs fairly quickly. It leaves my skin feeling silky and makes makeup application much smoother. A little goes a long way so a bottle will last you a long time.

Loved it

Not meant for oily skin. After using foundation and powder it makes your face makeup evenly last all day. Perfector.

Good for the price

I purchased this primer to use interchangeably with my smashbox photofinish product. For the price, I think it is a good product. I have oily skin in my t-zone and it keeps my skin shinefree for about 4 hours or so (not all day like the higher end primers). This is a good primer to slap on if you have some errands to do or for more casual events.
