Terrible On Fine Hair
I tried this shampoo for my very fine/limp hair not too long ago and I was VERY disappointed. Not only did my hair NOT feel clean afterwards..it actually felt greasy. I did my usual blow dry routine for volume and it didn't do much of anything. My hair felt weighed down and more limp then it was to begin with. The shampoo does have a nice smell and does lather nicely but I got zero volume and my hair didn't even feel clean. Hairdress Told me to Beware
I have always found pantene shampoo to be a good basic shampoo. However, when I went into get my haircut, the hairdresser asked what shampoo I used because my scalp was especially dry. I said Pantene, and she told me that I should not use that shampoo because it will seem like your hair is getting shiny because of its coating ingredients, but long-term use causes your scalp to be dry. The Body I've been Looking For
This shampoo is great it leaves my hair super soft and shiny , and gives me lots of body without weighing my hair down, which i've come to find most products do. Love Pantene Volume
I have thick hair that always needs help volumizing. Pantene products in general are my favorite line. The volumizing shampoo creates the right amount of volume I need for my short hair. Things to to consider over all before you buy this great shampoo
I have to start with that I really do absolutely love this shampoo! Having said that I also have to say a few things you should also know and consider. If you have long, thin, straight hair be prepared to have to change out to another shampoo seasonally. After awhile you will find, especially if you live in one of the colder climates, that your hair gets lifeless and fly away using it. If you tend to be in one of the middle of the road to warmer climates it will still get lifeless after awhile but not be fly away. It will become looking like it's unwashed, almost greasy like. This has been my experience and I've used this shampoo for years! You also need to be away that it is a little pricey so be prepared to buy it when it's on sale and preferably in the bigger size as that is where you will find your better bargain.
