Good!
I'm not a pro with dry shampoo, but since I wash my hair every other day, I figured I could give this a shot on the 2nd day. It seems to work well for me. My hair tends to get weighed down with oil, but my ends are really dry - hench why I don't shampoo everyday. Anyway, when I use this, it seems to work well for me. I don't really have anything to compare it to so I can't say if it's "great" or not, but for me, it did the job. It left my hair feeling much "cleaner" on the 2nd day than it normally did. I also noticed it helped to hold the style in my hair which makes me happy! The scent isn't bad, but it's not great either. Most TRESemme hair spray items don't smell stellar so once again, I didn't have much to compare this dry shampoo smell to other then the TRESemme hairspray I use. Would I buy this again - chances are yes. Just Okay
First off, I am not a fan of any dry shampoo. I have yet to find one that doesn't make a mess but with that said I bought this mainly because of the price. I wash my hair every 2 days so I needed something for the oil on my scalp. I have blonde hair so the residue isn't as visible on my hair & the smell is pleasant. But it does seem to leave a film. By the end of the day I can't wait to wash my hair. Horrible!
This is one of few cases I can cite when I have purchased a product on a whim without looking at the reviews, then regretting it later. Better believe it ladies, this dry shampoo stinks! Not literally, but I can honestly say the scent is the only upside to this product. My entire experience with this this can be summed up with one word: greasy. Completely opposite to what a dry shampoo is suppose to do, this formula weights down, sticks, and saps the volume right out of my hair! Spraying it at a distance does not help either. No matter how little or how lightly the product touches my hair, it immediately clings to all my strands and create a very greasy feeling even after brushing through. Ironically, if brushing is even attempted after applying this product, a very piece-y and shiny look takes over. Not hair commercial gorgeous-shiny, I'm talking about Severus Snape-shiny. This is completely contrary to the whole purpose of a dry shampoo! If applied to hair that hasn't been washed for a day, I guarantee that hair would feel like it hasn't been washed for a week. When I applied to washed or styled hair, it immediately becomes limp and unable to hold any shape. Formula aside, the sheer application of this product should have been an indication to exactly how bad this dry shampoo is! After shaking the bottle vigorously, the jet of product that comes out of the nozzle is more comparable to that of a rocket on first use. It does provide a continuous spray, but the amount of dry shampoo that comes out is simply ridiculous! Worst hair product!
This is the worst product I have ever used on my hair. I bought it because I thought it would save me some time in the morning before I went to class. It didn't make my hair look clean at all. No no no
I tried this product last year when my schedule was really hectic. I thought dry shampoo would be a great way to save time and give my hair a boost on days when I wasn't washing (of course, dry shampoo does exactly that, just not this product). Tresemme did a great job marketing this, so I thought the product would be great as well. It's awful. Not only does it not cleanse hair, it leaves it more weighed down and deposits residue on your locks. Instead of being an oil-absorbing powder (like most dry shampoos) it's a foam that does nothing. It feels like you've just applied mouse and you're left with oily, gunky hair. I have no idea why they developed the Fresh Start line and released it when it is such an obvious fail. I ended up needing to wash this product out of my hair the few times I used it (I gave it multiple tries, each time assuming I must be doing something wrong). Horrible! Awful! Yucky!
This stuff is bad. Really bad. It does nothing to freshen up 2nd day hair. It actually makes it feel more oily. I have super dark brown hair and after I sprayed this my hair looked a very unatural gray color. Yuck. After using this like the directions stated my hair brush was covered in junk! It was so disgusting. I ended up throwing my brush away and just buying a new one because I couldn't get the product out! Don't even look at this product in the store. wish i didnt buy it
So first i bought the foaming shampoo, but then i saw that it was more for curly hair. So i decided to get this one for fine oily hair in hopes that it would work out, but no. It leaves hair feeling gross and doesnt feel any fresher. Ineffective...Did My Hair Get Greasier?
There is nothing effective about this dry shampoo at all..and it seems to make my hair look much flatter much worse after use. If you think you are having a bad hair day, your hair looks flat or you need refreshing then this will only your hair woes worse and unfixable without washing your hair (I think that's what you are trying to avoid doing when using this). And on top of making your problem worse, you are left trying to get this extra lemony (almost too tart) powder out of your hair...it's very strong. I have absolutely nothing good to say about this item. Definitely do not use on dark hair. Not at all good
I really don't know about all these rave reviews; this product is so chalky (probably due to the clay) and even the smallest spritz gives hair a dull, whitish cast and an icky, stiff texture. Not a fan at all; Psssst is much much better and is around the same price at most drugstores.
