Awful.
I'm a big fan of dry shampoo, so I was excited when Tresemme made one that was affordable. Unfortunately, this one is not very good. It leaves a sticky residue on hair and doesn't do anything that a normal dry shampoo is supposed to do. Unsatisfactory
Like many, I was excited when there was an affordable dry-shampoo spray to come out. I like the scent of this, but I have dark hair so I get stuck with a white residue. I'd rather just wash my hair than get stuck with residue that looks like dandruff. Even so it doesn't do much to absorb oil. It makes surrounding areas appear more oily. No Way!
This was the first and last dry shampoo I've ever tried. I think it's ruined it for me trying any more dry shampoos. It left my hair with a nasty filmy texture. Pass on this

The WORST
I got two bottles of this for free through a Tresemme promotion and was so excited to try this budget-friendly dry shampoo. This would not be worth the $2 it costs though! The smell was really artificial and cheap, on top of just being too strong overall. This didn't do anything to absorb the oils in my fine, second-day hair. Rather than giving me lift and volume, this actually weighed my hair down and made it look even more greasy! After two terrible uses, the aerosol can completely leaked so I wouldn't have been able to use it again if I wanted to. The second bottle was the same story so I know that it was not just a defect in one bottle. The product slowly leaked out after just the first use. What a rip off! Not good at all.
The only 2 things that are worth sharing about this product, hence the 2 stars, is scent and price. It's drugstore pricing which is affordable, and the scent is clean-smelling. BUT it did nothing for my hair. I have jet-black hair and it leaves a white residue. I tried combing it but still left my roots greasy looking. I ended up washing my hair after that. Works for me!
I am so surprised with the reviews and ratings on this product. Admittedly, I have never used a dry shampoo until this one. However, I have not had any issues with this. My hair is long and thick and I just couldn't wash it everyday, so I wash it 2-3 times per week and use this product in between. I do like it but I wish it had more of a scent. A LITTLE goes a long way, so maybe that was the issue with the other reviewers? I only spray it on the areas that are needed, that are a bit oily or flat. Typically, that is my bang area and my center part. I am also a brunette and if too much product is applied, it will look white or gray. The product is coming out, even if it doesn't look like it. (I made that mistake once before!) I give it a minute or two, then use my fingers instead of a brush to fluff my hair and it gives me good volume. I have had an instance where the product felt a little like build-up and that was when I applied too much and didn't realize the product was coming out of the can. That also happened once before when I used the product for two days straight. However, if used correctly for your hair type and texture, I think this is a good solid product. works great on third day hair!
i'm surprised at all the negative reviews - this is, by far, the best smelling dry shampoo i've tried to date! the scent is clean and fresh, not strong and overpowering like other brands out there. as for the powdery finish others complain about, you have to brush your hair a few times to distribute it and get it working at absorbing the oil. it even adds a bit of volume! but i agree, my hair does feel heavier after an application - i have to wash my hair the day after i use this, and clean my brushes more regularly. but for saving me from one more day of shampooing, it works fine - and at a great price too! — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful
