A Premiere Primer!
I have found that primer is one of the keys to making my make-up last through a work day. I usually spend more on Victoria Secret Airbrush Primer. This L'Oreal product held up to the comparison! It goes on just as smoothly, makes for a great finishing look, and last all day. Plus it's a little cheaper than "mall cosmetics". The only down to this product for me was the size. Must Try
I recently got married and I used this primer along with Urban Decay setting spray and my makeup stayed all day. It was almost 90 and sunny and my pictures came out beautiful. I didn't really need any touch ups just a little blotting during the day. If you're looking for a primer that's inexpensive try this. Loves it!
Once I figured out how to apply it, it worked amazing. And I have very oily skin and live in Texas, and my makeup lasted longer than it ever has. I didn't even need to blot and usually I do as soon as I walk from the house to the car. long lasting matte look
My last facial primer was Perscriptives illuminating potion, but since they went out of business, I've been searching for a replacement. So far I like it, it keeps my make-up on all day, and I've received several compliments. The price alone makes it worth the buy. It does a great job of evening out my skin tone. My only complaint is, I don't personally care for the matte look, I prefer a glowing effect. Great Primer
I saw an ad for this in a magazine and being the product junkie that I am, I had to try it. I am very picky about putting things on my face. I can't stand anything on my face that doesn't feel sheer. This felt "OK" on my oily skin. But the reason I gave it 10 stars is because of I started using it as a primer for just my eyeshadow and lipstick!! Amazing!! I used to use Mary Kay Eye Primer. This is so much better. (And slightly cheaper). Not worth the hype
I just don't understand the hype over this product. First of all, I really dislike how it comes in the tiny jar. I have to use a q-tip to get it out with. Otherwise if you use your finger, you're contaminating the jar with germs and the product gets gunked under your nail. Would be better if it came in a tube. Secondly, I just don't see any lasting effects of using this product. Did not make my make-up stay on longer or make my face more matte like I would have expected it to. I have it 3 stars instead of 1, only because it did seem to make my foundation glide on more smoothly. But that's about it. Perhaps it's because I don't use a real heavy foundation. My oily skin loves it!
I've tried a lot of expensive products in efforts to smooth out my skin texture and tame my oily skin. Ironically enough, this $13 stuff did the trick! I adore it. The consistency of it is unlike anything I've tried but I love it! It's velvety. Satiny. It goes on my face like butter - soooo silky. My forehead lines and pores disappear! I mean, it truly truly gives me baby soft skin. I would never wear it alone as it does give me the sunscreen, ghostly look. But when I apply my foundation over it!? Whew! Looks like a dream. So flawless. And a little goes a long way. I just dab a bit on each area of my face and work it in. I really love this product!
I love how velvety it is while putting it on. I also love how small it makes pores look as well as laughing lines and the lines by the eyes. This primer works alone over moisturizer and under makeup. It really helped my face powder last longer and it keeps the face shine down which is a huge plus in the summer months. Good, but not for oily skin.
Just as everyone has said before, this primer does leave your face soft, but I find that in order to use the amount I want I have to rub it too much across my face, and I'd rather have a primer that kind of glides across rather than is super heavy. Also I find that the texture is too creamy for oily skin- it makes my skin oilier later in the day.
